It's not about catering to the minority, it's about NOT catering to the people who want to make the game WORSE. No negative changes should be made to a game just so you can make money. That's shit companies like Activision do, releasing more powerful weapons as DLC, nerfing other stuff in the game so DLC items are better by comparison, and so on. Valve could choose to be better than that. Right now, they still are, but that slope is looking awfully damn slippery right now. You know who makes the game worse? Comp players. They play a butchered version of the game, and demand all balance fits around it even though most people play completely differently. I fail to see how nerfing a weapon to fit into its actual purpose is for profit. There are millions of things that weekend warriors complain about. "I can't spy check, so remove spy. That pyro killed me even though I left him get in range of me, so remove pyro. Etc." Unless they start selling a pre-nerf version, it's not for profit. Next you'll tell me having more characters and maps than Fox and Final Destination is "FOR PROFIT WHAAA SELLOUTS!!1!"

It's almost like *Gasp* they're a business. How dare they pay attention to the majority of their players, they have a vocal minority they have to cater too.

You can debate whether the nerf is ok or not, but a gamemode a lot of people enjoyed getting destroyed is a bad thing no matter how you look at it Can't they just make a mod to revert the change if it's that earth shattering to 6v6? Of course they could always adapt, and maybe mix things up.

You don't need Matrix powers to dodge a projectile that moves in a predictable straight curve. The only conclusion I can come to here is that you think dodging is impossible. I must only then imagine you find a projectile reflecting Pyro to require supernatural powers as well. They must be gods among men indeed. Just for giggles, let's assume your original point (doesn't matter if the primary was nerfed, you still have the secondary). What would you think of doing the same to the Soldier? Let's cut a flat 30 damage off the base of each rocket. It's fine because the Soldier still has the Shotgun? The projectile speed is faster than you give it credit for. Pretty much only scouts or people at long range can easily dodge it without fail. You also still have more than one shot. Fire two, one towards them, and the second leading in the direction they're moving. The correct comparison would be having a bunch of baddies running around only spamming the shotgun, since they can't figure out the rocket launcher, and then Valve nerfs the shotgun so it's used for its actual purpose again.

Don't be that guy. You're not that dumb. It's not that hard to figure out the arc of your shot or lead a moving target, and if you do miss you can easily shoot three more at them.

If you suck at aiming, just use the loch-n-load.

The sticky nerf is a good thing. The weapon is for area of denial and traps, if you want to spam use the grenade launcher. Also, I think Valve confirmed comp tf2 is a waste of time. Good.

I don't remember season 2 being worse than 1, but I did watch it forever ago.

Black Dynamite was a show I wanted to love, since the movie is probably one of my favorites, but the end result was also just meh. It forgot what it was supposed to be a parody of.

Dream Drop Distance? Seriously? If it wasn't for that phone game that got ported over to the DS it'd easily be the worst KH game.

Am I the only one who thinks all of Danny's scenes could just be cut out, and the show would be better for it? She isn't even apart of the story, and she won't be for a long time. I'm told she hasn't even shown up in the books yet. Why even waste show time on her? Her character has become annoying too. I enjoyed the savage queen thing from the first season, but now she's just a preachy hypocrite.

So I finished season 2 of True Blood, and I'm conflicted. The plot line about the missing sherif and Jason's 'spiritual journey' was really good. Then there's the greek priest lady who makes people have orgies, and it just feels like shark jumping. They also introduced a love triangle, and I fucking hate love triangles.
