Black Lagoon is on Toonami now. Is it any good? Of course if it's not a weeaboo anime none of you have probably seen it.
-
No Tyrone on that list. Racists.
-
I nominate Tyrone. A real nigga for a real world.

No WASD means they all suck equally.

Wasnt it in a VHS tape No, the VHS tape was so I could duel him over the TV. Guy then made us go to the shadow realm.
-
I haven't played Hearthstone since Guy trapped my grandfather's soul in a trading card. I doubt people would ever get together to make it work sadly.

It's going to take a while. 22 40min episodes per season. EDIT Don't want to double post. Kevin Smith has a cameo as a gas station clerk. Most fitting cameo ever.
-
Anyone else see this show? Starting watching it after I saw some reviews for the movie, and it is just so good.
-
We need a Maud Pie emoticon. I might even switch from the pinkiegasms for it.
-
It was just a ripoff of Brother Bear and had the most misleading trailers I've seen in a long time. "You wanted a fantasy epic with a kickass female protagonist? TOO BAD! You get mommy daughter drama and bears."

Everything after UP.

Pixar sucks pretty hard now, so they'll probably fuck it up.

http://banbossy.com Yeah, so this is a thing. Feminists really do hate freedom of speech, don't they? Or maybe they think all girls are too weak to handle basic criticism.

I've been rewatching Yu Gi Oh on and off for a while now. The first season the card game had no strategy, but the premise was fun and Pegasus is a great villan. Then the second season gets a little better, but is full of so much destiny talk that it gets annoying. Kaiba has to be one of my least favorite characters in anime. Even though he was fucking turned into a playing card not so long ago, he refuses to believe in magic and work with Yugi. Of course I've always disliked Vegeta characters. I gave up when in battle city when they decided right before the finals to go get trapped in a virtual world for filler. Yugi literally duels a bunch of doors.

Banning the Word "Bossy"

I agree with you. My problems are with censorship and the false of ideas on leadership they have. Anyone who has ever had a boss/teacher/etc who has tried to be their buddy should know how hard it is to take them seriously. People like them more, but when it comes to take charge no one listens to them. This is a problem I remember seeing all the time with substitute teachers who tried to befriend the class, but then they just walk all over them and refuse to listen. In one of the videos I saw, they asked a bunch girls if it's better to be liked or be a leader, and they said liked. A leader shouldn't expect to be liked at all, since you can't have your cake and eat it too. If being called bossy gives them the idea people won't like them for being a leader, then they're right. It's up to them to decide if it's worth it. It's one of those "two wrongs don't make a right" type situations. They were created in reaction to feminists, but then became just as bad as them. While both sides have valid complaints, they always approach them from a biased gender specific standpoint. -

Banning the Word "Bossy"

Oh, fuck me. No one is arguing that! No one! The whole argument is that girls are being discouraged from being assertive. I don't think biotruths are the answer here. And there's the problem. You're under the assumption that any women who takes a leadership role is bossy. It should be noted that girls and boys can't succeed if their self-esteem is damaged at a young age. It just so happens that the word bossy is more commonly used towards girls than boys. P.S: Do you prefer cargo shorts, or blood-stained cargo shorts? Maybe later. You are if you're making special rules for them because you believe they can't succeed without them. They do have better vocal and multitasking abilities for a reason you know. I'm not, you are under the assumption all girls are oppressed leaders. If someone was a strong leader in the making being called bossy wouldn't stop them. It would only stop the socially obsessed bossy girls. The "Everyone gets a trophy" mentality doesn't encourage people to succede, it just makes them entitled. Banning a word because you need a scapegoat is never right. Don't really like cargo-shorts, but I guess bloodless ones are probably better. -

And now we're back to square one! It's perfectly fine to give criticism to kids, but that's not what this issue is about. Girls are being insulted for displaying traits that would be praised if boys were showing them instead. This isn't about what makes a leader, this is about giving girls the confidence and motivation to succeed in leadership skills. IMO, people aren't born as leaders, they have to experience the world and society in order to define who they are. When it comes to being a leader, boys have it much easier than girls because they're rarely insulted for their initiative. No one is asking to make special rules for girls, nor are they saying they're too weak. If a boy was constantly called bossy for being assertive, then you can bet that he'd also be discouraged and demotivated to succeed. Only reason we're back there is because you took the feminazi blue pill. We should teach girls they have to work to succeed, not just get handed everything if they demand it. Or maybe evolution has women generally being more socially orientated from our hunter/gatherer days, and feminists are just looking for a scapegoat. Instead of encouraging bossy girls to be bossy, lets teach all kids what real leadership is. If you want to ban a word when used against girls, that's what we call special rules. If you say girls can't succeed without special rules, then that's what you call weak. -

The point is: the word bossy is often associated with women more than it does with men. Again, the problem stems from childhood, where society plays a heavy role in shaping the character of a person, at least, that's how I view it. How are women supposed to lead if they are consistently discouraged and berated for it at a young age? You're exaggerating the point that they're trying to make. They're not saying that women who are called bossy will suddenly break down, go into a state of deep depression, and watch Jerry Springer while eating ice cream out of the tub. The point they're trying to make is that girls are constantly discouraged and dismissed with the word 'bossy' for daring to be assertive. Maybe women are more bossy then men. I'd say blame the princess attitude parents program their daughters with. Who isn't discouraged and berated from a young age? If they can't take criticism as a kid, they won't when they're an adult. Being a leader means sacrificing being liked, and if you care more about popularity than leadership, it sucks to be you. You can't have your cake and eat it too. They're saying girls are too weak to handle being called bossy, so we have to make special rules for them. That's pretty sexist if you ask me. -

Source In regards to my childhood, I don't seem to recall being called bossy(though admittedly I'm not an assertive person), but I have called my older sister bossy when I was a kid. Of course, but the reason why they're afraid is likely because their self-esteem is damaged at an early age because of this very word. It's not the actual word that's the problem, its the broad use of it. That sure was a non-biased source... The only thing they had was women referred to as bossy in books more, how does that translate to real life? Especially since this relies on young girls who are probably too young to do a lot of reading. A leader wouldn't have their self-esteem effected in the first place. If you can't lead without fear of getting your self-esteem effected, how are you supposed to make hard decisions? This isn't about the use of the word, it's about feminists blaming any fault women have on men. "Women are strong and can do whatever a man can, but don't say mean things or they'll break and go cry." Is basically what they're saying, and is pretty damn sexist and counter productive if you ask me.
