In case they mistake it for bad noose? -
subSPUF showed up in my dream again last night. Someone, I think it was EvilBrain, had posted that Toddington was the best town either in the UK or the world and I was well pleased because it's where I live.

You'd be pretty much buying the MCC for the Halo 1 and 2 multiplayer which isn't particularly worth it. Just pick up Combat Evolved Anniversary (assuming you don't have it and do have a 360) and you're set for replaying the campaign, original Xbox copies of Halo 2 work fine on 360s as well so you can pick one up from a secondhand store for pretty cheap if you need. Picked up a copy myself at CEX for £3.50 the other day. I've always found getting back into playing Halo properly quite tricky personally, though I suppose that's true for most games. -

Ayyy. Mon the Biff. If you missed out on Opposites, that and pretty much all of its B-sides were well good. -

I got a similar thing on my iPod a while back where Buddha's old avatar became the bar at the top, I think I had to reset my cache or something.

I assumed it was only the Gardener because of the guaranteed crits.

Had a go at pizza and profiteroles today. Three hours and a heck of a messy kitchen later, it all turned out pretty tasty, I'll definitely be doing those profiteroles again.

The Hydra's got pretty good accuracy as well.

Get a slag Rubi (or a Grog Nozzle if you have the Tiny Tina DLC) if you don't already have one and put pretty much whatever you want in the other hand. Vladof snipers with high fire rates and large magazines can be pretty fun, especially with Keep Firing. Jakobs shotguns work nicely as well if you have Inconceivable. iirc those are the Gunzerker skills You're right, I've done a dumb.

The replacement mouse arrived and had a similar issue, but then it turned out to be the surfaces. My new mouse mat arrived later and it works on that very nicely. Happy days!

Decided to splash out a bit on a new mouse, does anyone have any suggestions? Not looking for anything super-fancy, maybe a few side-buttons, preferably a wired one, with a budget of about £50 (~$80).

Assuming it's just a gaming PC, at least as big as your Steam library. You can put all your images/music/videos/whatever on the HDD.

Right, the FK1 arrived today and it looks and feels lovely, but the sensor doesn't seem to be detecting any surfaces properly. I've tried it on a mouse mat, a book, a notepad and just on the desk, but I could only get the cursor to move when pressing really hard on the book, and even then it was pretty much unusable. The buttons seem to be working fine. Does anyone know what might be going on? I've sent a ticket to ZOWIE as well. EDIT: mouse is broken, apparently. Getting a replacement.

Went with a Zowie FK1 in the end, hopefully it'll be here pretty soon. Is getting a proper gaming mat worth it? At the moment I'm just using the desk because the only one mouse mat I've got is awful, but I was looking to get a new one and was wondering if the pricier ones are worth it.

Yeah, that's fingertip, cheers for the info.

Oo 'eck, that's a lot of replies, cheers guys. Ah, too much money. Crikey that's a lot of buttons. I don't think I'd make enough use of something like that. There's more than one way to hold a mouse? I hold mine like this, if it helps. I've been playing a lot of Age of Empires II and plan to play more Dota, so maybe just a couple of side buttons would be nice for some binds. The ZOWIE and Logitech stuff look pretty nice, but the Razer stuff seems a bit pricey so far, I'll do a bit more looking.

Had a dream last night where I was on a school trip somewhere, in a coach, and we stopped in a car park where there were 2 giant hares and a smallish kangaroo wandering around threateningly. A woman on the coach had a dog which managed to get outside somehow, possibly by jumping through a window. The kangaroo and hares then ran over to attack it and everyone got a bit tense, but then it turned out they were just stealing a glass jar from the dog and ran off afterwards. I then woke up and fell asleep again, and this time dreamt that a friend was driving me home from somewhere, and I told him about the previous dream on the way, which was pretty odd.
