Chapter 14 The Trolls rushed at SubSPUF, surprising them with their large amount of numbers. The SPUFers opened fire, and they gained hope when they say the Trolls were only using simple weapons – clubs and rocks. However, the Trolls greatly outnumbered the SPUFers. The Lurkers helped – multiple Trolls dropped to the ground because of arrows and crossbow bolts. Together, they drove back the first wave of Trolls. More came soon, though, and the SPUFers barely got a chance to rest as all of the Trolls rushed. The Trolls continued to fall, although multiple SPUFers were injured in the battle. Rammite was the victim of a Troll sneaking behind him and suffered with a broken arm and a destroyed house. Corvette was hit with a large rock and had to be dragged off. Commander had to take Doctor Pan off the battlefield because he almost accidentally shot Buddha. Soon, the current Trolls turned to retreated after their leader started yelling, but as they turned, Trolls in the back suddenly started dropping and screaming. The Trolls yelled, engaging in combat, and the SPUFers got hope. That hope died when the final Troll dropped dead to a gun and then the Guests arrived. ***** Cell sprinted back inside Burton’s building, ignoring the shouts of the scarred men behind him. He quickly searched the room for anything he could use as a weapon – possibly the shards of the potted plant? He discarded that idea and quickly searched the bodies for a weapon. Fortunately, he found an unused knife on the body of the scarred man. He turned to face the door as the first man entered. Cell jumped at him, and he raised a pistol. Before he could fire, Cell slammed into him, stabbing him in the side. The man let out a cry of pain, and as they hit the ground Cell quickly grabbed the knife. He pulled it out of the man’s body and quickly stabbed him three more times before he turned to face the rest of his enemies. The one armed man stepped in, gripping a knife and glaring at Cell. He rushed at him, swinging the knife, and Cell stepped back. He saw a third man step in the doorway and quickly jumped forward, stabbing at the one armed man ahead of him. The sudden attack caught him by surprise, but he managed to move to the side. Cell didn’t stop, however, but kept running towards the third man who raised his own gun. Cell tackled him, hearing the gun fire and stabbing wildly. He tumbled out of the doorway, outside, and he heard the shouts of alarm from the other three men. He quickly rose, pushing forward and stabbing the closest man in the neck. Without wasting time, as he saw the next man raising his gun, he swung his fist at him. He punched him straight in the jaw, and he stumbled back, dazed. The man behind him had no gun – he only held a knife like the one armed man. That thought surprised him, because he realized he had forgotten about one of them. He quickly turned in time to be attacked. He pushed the attacker off of him, but not before he managed to stab him. He let out a quick cry of pain, throwing him off and pushing himself back. He glanced at the attackers – one man helping up the one armed man, and the last one with the gun finally standing. Thankfully, the one armed man didn’t manage to take the knife back, and he took it out of his body, wincing at the pain. Finally, he stood, panting and ignoring his wound. He raised the knife, hoping Ted would make him enough of a Gary Stu to prevail. He let out a short cry and charged. The men were surprised, and he knocked over one and pushed the one armed one out of the way. He raised the knife, slamming it in between the gun holder’s ribs. He wrenched the gun out of his grasp and slammed it into the side of his head, and he dropped. He turned quickly to see the one armed man charging at him, screaming. The man raised his knife and Cell raised the pistol. He fired, and the man stopped and jerked back, dead. He turned and saw the final man running. He raised the gun, firing at him, but he ducked his head and fled into the forest. Swearing, Cell thought for a moment and ran after him with the gun. there
