Support items are actually very effective on him. Mek's heal is far too good if you need to save an injured Meepo. Vlads' Lifesteal and +15% damage is a LOT of bang for your buck. Heart of Tarrasque is godly with an Aghanims, because the sheer strength will transfer over and every Meepo will get a bonus 1000 health. Basically: Aghanims Heart Mek Any aura items you want Strength Treads for lasting longer in large fights. Tranquil if you think you'll be fighting frequent but small fights. Phase if you want more DPS or just another escape/chase mechanism. Boots of Travel if you're rich. Arcane maybe, but only if the situation calls for it. Don't hang on to it too long, either.

The one time we did a tryhard Captain's Mode match was pretty damned fun, yeah. IMO, it means more "Do whatever it takes to win, even if it means cheap tactics and abusing the hell out of the game". And with Dota... there's an awful lot of tricks to exploit.

I'd recommend Zeus. Lightning Bolt does fucktons of damage. Nothing fancy. Chain Lightning does meh damage to fucktons of people, basically all the time. Static Field is a nice passive that hurts everyone every time you spam a spell. Thundergod's Wrath is fucktons of damage to every enemy hero ever. They can't run from heaven. I'd also recommend Lina, but aiming her stun is a challenge and smart enemies can dodge it flawlessly.

YOUUUUU I think I did really good as SB. Couldn't last hit for my life, but once I was up and running for ganks, that poor furion died in a flash. But then we slipped up and Hellfire wanted too many ganks and not enough survivability. I went Shadow Blade for easier ganks instead of BKB. Nyx was- naw, Nyx was just good. And then Gyro and Troll and Razor finished farming and Tide got a Refresher and our team chats was constant gg's. Holy crap, nice people on dota. Reminds me of a match I played two weeks ago. A guy leaves and never comes back, but we all patiently wait a solid 5 minutes for him. In the meantime, we kick off conversation and basically brohugs all around. We won because Viccitudes planned a 3 man, Level 3 Necronomicon rush, but the enemies were still bros and commended us on the great win, and we all applauded them for playing so well without one player. We all left feeling pretty damned good.
