Veno is one of those heroes that the team setup and gameplay needs to revolve around. I usually go Poison Sting, Boots Clarity Tango. Use your movement speed to creepblock, and to weave in and out. Harass literally every other second. Make 100% sure that your lanemate can get a level 2 first blood or you wasted money on the boots. Level 2, you get Venomous Gale. Your lanemate gets stun/slow/nuke. Gale first and murderface. Level up Wards when you get the kill, then push while enemy lane is weak.

This, really. With the scepter, she has the potential to outdamage regular carries, but even then, because of how her ult works, she's only good at killing fleeing heroes. If the enemy carry decided to focus enchantress instead of running, she's wasted unless he uses a Ghost Scepter or something. She ends up being a carry, but only if there is a more solid carry next to her.

Enchantress can be a carry, but she's like Necrolyte. Strong #2 carry potential, but they have heals so people relegate them to #5 supports.
