Don't be afraid/ashamed to play matches against bots. They're plenty challenging and they end up often being better than most newbies. If you can work your way up to Unfair bots and not die horribly*, you're probably rmuch better than most actual players. *you can't win against unfair bots. literally. If they're losing, they hack in items and gold. If they're winning, your teammate bots "accidentally" shut down.
