IMO, He works better if he's a #2, ganker mid. Like Nightstalker. If he plays as a sort of assassin, he could easily destroy the enemy's carry in a teamfight, then most of your troubles are over.

Even then, slashing her Marksmanship bonus in half doesn't do a lot when the "weakened" version rivals a Butterfly. Her Frost Arrows won't be of much use and she won't be able to leave the fight, but she still has sheer DPS.
