Why prevent pain if: -The person did horrible terrible things -The person is going to die anyway as for the stress on the firing squad, it's not particularly hard to rig a rudimentary bot that pulls the trigger after a random period of time. It's no more conscience wracking than lethal injection.

I just don't get death row. You can spend millions of dollars on this or you can spend tens of thousands of dollars on lethal injection or you can spend a half a dollar on a .45 hollow point pistol round
