Actually, yeah, why can't we just do that? I'm not for the death penalty or against. I just don't want these criminals to win after what they do. If they hurt the public, why should thier punishment hurt the economy of the public?

Perhaps the family could be asked whether they care for the criminal or not? If they do not, mutilate away. If they do, find a less gory way to off them. like maybe a few hollow points into the chest quick, simple, does not mutilate, and can be covered with clothing

good point yeah But I honestly just don't get capital punishment. Why prevent pain if: -The person did horrible terrible things -The person is going to die anyway as for the stress on the firing squad, it's not particularly hard to rig a rudimentary bot that pulls the trigger after a random period of time. It's no more conscience wracking than lethal injection.

I just don't get death row. You can spend millions of dollars on this or you can spend tens of thousands of dollars on lethal injection or you can spend a half a dollar on a .45 hollow point pistol round

My problem with Amanda is that she totally had it coming. I was the geeky kid that stayed to himself and his group of friends. The jock decided I was a sizable victim. After maybe a week of increasingly not-subtle warnings, I stabbed his arm with a pencil, sharpened just for that reason. Maybe a month after, we ended up coming to terms with each other and had a really shaky friendship until we went to different high schools. not that im advocating the right to bear writing utensils my case could have gone infinitely worse, but i'm just saying its still totally possible.

eep But I dunno. With bullying, you really just have to deal with it your own way. The way I see it, it's a way to capitalize on social dominance. Personally, I believe any and all sort of social dominance/ranking is abhorrant and I would totally be the person to carry a jackknife everywhere just to stick out. Will I be ostrichized? Yeah. Are the "leaders" of the school going to mess with me? Probably not. and if they do, i upgrade my weapons I'd rather be feared than suffer. Better if it's just fear, and I don't have to constantly pull out a weapon, cause that makes me every bit as bad as the bullies. again this is just my own twisted thinking. i simply am too big a believer of social equality and simply hate suffering too much
