i have WoW and BO, and while they are really good games, the roving idiots in the community (most of everyone) is really lackluster imo But that's for a different thread.

i still say that's nothing bad if you mean cod 1-4 5 is iffy 6 realy iffy 7 is pushing it

Turns out when my friend installed his RAM, he wasn't grounded. I'm thinking that borked up his computer, but how would you fix that? i've been googling at the speed of light becasue other friends heard about the bounty and they want my $40

Few years ago, my parents promised me they would buy me a laptop when I went to college.They weren't serious at the time, but I made them change thier mind just now.I'm horrible at hardware - are there any suggestions or tips I should know for picking the right laptop for me?All I'm really looking for is a strong enough laptop, able to handle most games. I don't have a set budget, but anything past $1000 is probably pushing it by a lot.

Half school, half games. Something like how I'd use my own desktop - It's strong enough to handle most games smoothly, but I'll end up splitting the focus fairly evenly.EDIT: Now that I think about it, I'd rather the specs be similar to a gaming computer as well. Fairly high specs (6-8gb RAM, 400+gb disk space...)

And co-authored a fanfiction before its release, spanning 2 entire threads after one of them hit the post limit.That fanfiction was deleted when Bethesda decided to wipe the BRINK forums entirely. Regarding gameplay, the stats are 100% exactly the same, right down to how quickly you turn 150 degrees to use a skill. However, DotA 1 graphics are poop, the UI isn't all that straightforward, and the keybindings are literally everywhere. But at the same time, with godly RTS skills, you'd be able to understand the map immediately. Things like ambushing and pincer attacks and playing with fog of war would come naturally.
