I'd prefer it if it sayed MvM for a week or so. After a week, when getting into MvM servers isn't a chore, we can have our funserver back.My /slay finger is itchy.

    IT'S HERE (#2) - Saxxies

I'd be more excited, but I have no skill in replays and infinitely less skill in SFM.

    Dota General

Dota 2 now has a Spectator Client for everyone. You can now spectate matches before you commit to trading for the key, and you can spectate Valve's superimportant The International competition in HD, completely free.Probably a publicity stunt for The International, but this looks like it'll work. Anyone that wants a glance at Dota gameplay or its system requirements before getting it can use the Spectator Client to test that out.

You're the lucky one, not us!By the time you come back, we won't have any asses because the tobors kicked them all off. And by then, the lag should let up.On an unrelated note, is anyone getting rubberband lag? I've gotten it since this monday, and I can't pinpoint the source. It's been more prevalent after the MvM update, though.

    SPUF Medal!

I'd say make the blue triangle a touch thicker than the b/w stripes on the front side. It's looking really flat and some depth might do the trick.

    Minecraft

Imagine your generic MMORPG. Any one will do. The basic Warrior/Archer/Mage classes, all that. Now stick it in Minecraft. Bam. Hack/Mine. (apparently pronounced Hack Slash Mine)No real purpose, you just play normally. Start off with some stuff, slay zombies and ROFLcondas, get better weapons. Raid dungeon-towers, which contain several floors of Spawners, and lead to cooler stuff. Repeat.-You don't lose anything on death. Just durability.-Broken things don't get destroyed, and can be repaired with things like dirt and redstone.-Food is 100% useless because hunger doesn't exist.I'd imagine it'd be much more fun with friends.
  13. I have nothing. Not like I could use it anyway. I already have Portal 2.

    Do you wear glasses?

I'm absurdedly scared of things touching my eye. One time, my brother poked his eyeball and I kept squirming for hours.

http://www.nerfnow.com/comic/image/778Games is srs bsnsBut seriously, I think that everything has evolved too far. Game playment structures, economy, greed, consumer bias and contentment...Suddenly going back to the old Arcade days could work beautifully, but it could also crash and burn, since it is radically different from what consumers have accepted as 'normal'.And on the flip side, perhaps we do need some radical change. Perhaps the direction 'normal' is heading is going to drive the video game business into the ground, dragging the consumer along with it.It's too damn hard to tell. There are simply too many factors, too many variances, too many social norms, and too many greedy companies.
