How Do You Guys Feel About Having To Pay To Join?
Rammite replied to Just a Gigolo's topic in General Discussion
They get split between the mods and the SPUFserver admins, with the mods getting the lion's share. And you can't exactly split a soul down the middle, so Ian and Janobi are swimming in souls and I've yet to get any but my own. I think I'm due for the next soul or the one after that, though. -
Learn something new everyday. Of course, I'm such a bad base raider that I can count the number of times I've touched the enemy flag with my fingers.

They can't BOTH be the largest.Unless it's like The Tallest in Invader Zim where they both are miracuously the tallest at the same time.

I'm Rammite. I already have like 3 of you on my friends. I'll add you, Silent, when I can. HIGH FIVE. I need that Reach perk. I'll end up skiing like 2 feet to the left of the flag, and shamefully walking back for a Llama grab.

Sounds good, but Engineers still have the freedom to have the Teleporter whereever they wish. Everyone else will have to hunt it down, whether it be right in front of you, or guarded by the world's largeest spycrab.
-
Teleporters would be an odd case here, since the objectives are so much more different. How about it acts like the Displacer Cannon from Half Life: Opposing Force? Teleporter entrances only work if the current level allows it, and it will teleport the player to its own predetermined secret level, filled with various goodies or maybe even a boss ambush or what have you. The only way out of this secret level is to find the opposite Entrance, where you will be teleported to your original Teleporter. And if the current level doesn't have a secret level, the teleporter simply doesn't work.

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF Uh. That can't be good. See if your bindings are screwy?

All right... who's ready to go find this spy?

Now I have a little mental picture where all the nazi attack dogs are nazi attack frogs. This is how WWII should have been fought.

Well fuck. What a waste of that free 250 gold. I knew I should've put it into Infiltrator.I think Saber would do better if lock ons were shortened to 2 seconds, and the missle didn't do this annoying launch-upwards-and-slowly-turn-toward-target.

You know what, I'll throw in a refined. If only to spite Grobag. Now to find Ian.

This. Between his reports and my being-the-only-poor-sod-willing-to-respond-to-them, we've kept SPUFserver pretty clean.

The problem is I'm so horrendously bad with the mortars that I need ~4 shots to actually hit a turret.Spamming them near the gen is easy enough, though. And I'm looking forward to Brute. His damn Frac-nades reminds me too much of the Soldier's Nail Grenades. By then, I just use classic TF skills to GFTO out of the killzone. Also, it turns out I'm really quick to spend my XP. I tried to save up to Brute, but ended up getting Doombringer because I found my niche in a solid defense. The problem is that the Minigun is almost TOO accurate, and you need a steady hand to keep it trained on anything, and with everyone skiiing at 100 MPH, that's no easy feat. And I find myself hating the Saber because people rarely stay airborne for a whole 3 seconds. Those that do are good enough to shoot down the saber itself. At least I can hold some ground with the force field.

This was when I realized my Soldier skills could translate almost perfectly into Spinfusor skills. Juggernaut, the only poor sod gen defending in Temple Ruins. After several failures with my mortar launcher and realizing it's usually a stupid idea to use it while gen defending, I rolled with the Spinfusor. After realizing I really should not aim for perfect direct hits, I played like a Soldier that took health-steriods and walked out somehow managing 2nd-MVP.We lost anyway, but I think that was the moment I fully converted into Tribes. Also, Jackals are the most OP thing to ever exist ever. I would rather fight a horde of Tomislavs than a single Jackal INF hell-bent on taking out the generator.

LONELY GUY BROFISTI love Scout because he has the speed to pretty much fill any job. He needs a lot of twitch aiming and mental tracking, which I happen to be rather good at.

I NEED TO KILL FAST AND ROCKETS TOO SLOW lc

Still projectiles, just going super super fast. You'll have to lead a shot if you're gunning for 200ft+.
