I'll give it another go. I had a try when I was at PAX. After a bit of fumbling around with the controls, I figured out basic movements and such pretty quickly and meshed it with my core FPS skills.Problem is that I was always horrible with aiming projectiles.The bigger problem is that my computer seems to be 100% incompatible with anything Tribes related. Tribes one simply refused to acknowledge the existance of my mouse. Tribes Ascend also ignored my mouse, had a completely black background, and crashed upon starting the tutorial.

But then we'd just stare at Silent's name. He'd be in every spot of the top 10 at the same time.But it really does sound good. There would have to be some sense of fairness to it. If you endlessly spawn spycrabs, you could farm rep endlessly.But if it's too contained and there is an indirect maximum rep in any one game because of the monsters, then the leaderboards are all the same number eventually.

Ian said some time ago that the orange bar is a Strange counter for your rep. It follows the Strange ranks and numbering to the dot.

It's not a forum without Grammar Nazis. Also, White Knights. They don't hurt you, but they physically get in your way, as well as heal thier allies. For balance reasons, they can't heal other White Knights. And maybe Rep Whores, with Silent as thier leader. Every attack also saps away a small bit of rep. Kill them, and you get it all back and a bit extra.

This is when you know you're addicted to Rep.

I cast Magic Missile. It has a +2 to damage because I casted with my Sun-on-a-Stick.
