This, plus the last time I played, controlling a military was so much more complex, and farms needed flooding and then un-flooding, which meant I no longer could have a farm from week one, I had to work for months and months.

Don't kill taunting players. If they attempt a taunt kill against a teammate, watch in awe.If they attempt a taunt kill against you, feel free to jump into the killzone.

    So while tf2 is wonky...

I actually played this a bit before it was Steam integrated. I was overjoyed when Steam adopted it.I've always loved the idea of Roguelikes, and an MMO roguelike with simple controls grabbed my attention immediately. The raids are cool, and the PVP is fun, but once that loses its appeal, it's pretty poop. But I never was one for grinding monsters/missions.

    Lets Discuss These New Hats

What value does spamming the TF2 community once for $100 have? A lot, since people were so eager to throw thier cash at Valve.

I don't like that in that the weapons follow a Combat Arms system. You have to have insane amounts of money, buy a weapon, and farm more money if you plan on keeping it.If that doesn't bug you, however, it's a great game.
  11. Going along the pattern of getting-to-know-you threads, how do you play in a team game? It often says a lot about your personality too, I guess.I personally haven't given it any thought until I started playing Dota 2 and started scrutinizing my actions. I've found I'm usually a Catalyst (I made this up just now but it fits perfectly) for my team.I'd like to think of it as a support role, but more offense orientated - rather than simply supporting my team, I'll pave the way to victory and urge my team towards it. But I'm usually incredibly dependent on my team. Like an actual catalyst in chemistry, I take a solid team and increase everyone's effectiveness with ambushes and ganks and buffs and stuff like that, but also like a chemical catalyst, my urgings don't actually do anything if the team has no synergy.I usually play Scout and Soldier in TF2, usually taking the roles of point-man and that-one-tard-that-rushes-to-his-death-just-to-reset-the-Intel-timer.In Dota 2, I usually end up playing Venomancer and Slardar, where I'm practically swimming in slows and stuns and damage-over-time, weakening them and making them prime targets, while completely relying on my team to land the killing blow.

I vote Heavy. You already have flame particles, so you only have to rework a few things to make them look like bullets. Done.

I tried to explain it to my brother, who usually has a good sense for weird plot/time shit.He acted as if I was trying to explain Le Chatelier's Principle to a 4 year old.Granted, he still caved in and read it, but he refuses to read the dialoglogs and is only more confused.

    SPUF Fortress

That makes sense. The game can't make up weapons on the fly, and can only pick from a potentially massive - but still finite - list of weapons. So as long as there's a bit of variety, I'll happily take it. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOBut I could see how annoying it would be to make a PC spy. let's just stick to the basics for now.

What's your role in a team game?

I play Squire too, but only because everything he has does SO MUCH DAMAGE. I made my guy into an almost pure Hero Damage/Tower Damage build, and it does wonders so as long as I'm aware of what's going on.It's real hard to get a Harpoon to hit a Wyvern, though. But I have an Apprentice to fill in that little niche. You know what they say, great minds think alike.

gen 3 games get a lot more mercy. The only thing affected is time-based events, like Eevee's evolutions, berry growing, and raffles and such.

4NOTH3R JO1NS OUR GLOR1OUS DEMOGRAPH1C. The weird time shit/weird plot shit is usually what drives people away, along with the monotony of the text logs (But since we're all from a forum-for-a-forum, I doubted that would be a problem). You'll love Casade.

If possible, a borderlands-esque shop system? Every so often, inventory will mix up, with mostly stock weapons, maybe one or two uncommon weapons, and maybe even ones with unusual effects, denoting a sharp increase in a certain stat.

Actually, I assumed everyone was going to be dead anyway, including Katara. She must be one hell of an old hag. How'd she outlive Aang? She's (biologically) several years older than him.
