Okay, you can have it. That is a massive shitstorm and I don't want to be the guy what started it.

Going to have to throw in my two cents here. Wombat has you pinned with his last arguement. Even used your own source against you.

I think that's because of the publicity. You don't hear about the good people because they're boring and didn't do anything noteworthy. You only hear about the extremists because they're the only ones dumb enough to stand out and attract all the news reporters. I think that line of thought works for any grouping of people. The good, quiet, innocent people just don't do anything and others simply do not acknowledge them because they kind of didn't do anything. When others hear of the out-liers, who make their group look bad, that's all that comes to mind. For any one group, there might be 998 peaceful people and 2 crazy homocidal tards. But because we never hear of the peaceful people and we only hear about the 2 crazytards, we focus on the crazytards because we think that's all there is. This is going to spark another derailment, isn't it?

This, you sadistic bastard.I really need to learn to avoid subSPUF when I'm in the middle of typing an 8-page essay due tomorrow.

Soda Popper. Don't like the FaN as much. Forceful repositioning is nice, but that only makes it harder to land a meatshot.

Holy ♥♥♥♥, guys, I leave for one day of high school and this whole thing spirals into madness. Well, at least this is more or less a mature discussion. Can't say I expected a bunch of rep-mongers to have mature debates on a forum-for-a-forum. Faith in humanity still in question. If it makes you feel any better, I've realized I'm woefully bad with any Scout Primary that isn't the Scattergun. I think it's the reload animation, since it starts immediately. Throws my focus off, and I think because of my derp adhd.

I'm ashamed to say I think I started the derailment. Damn me and my critical/philosophical outlook on life.

Anyone that touches the flames is set on fire, barring Pyros.Dying while on rocket-lawnchair-fire spawns even more rocket lawnchairs in a very complicated way of lawnchair reproduction.

Heh, I practically live by this. I'm often surrounded by overly-religious people, and I admit I didn't make that distinction in my post. There are good-natured people everywhere in every demographic, but my main problem is with the overly-religious. Those that commit crimes, hate crimes, and even sin against thier own beliefs, and then hide behind thier religion, asserting that it protects them and allows them to act in such a way. And then there are the overly-religious people that cannot form a coherent thought without considering thier chosen beliefs. There are such people that blatantly ignore science and reasoning and assert that it does not exist if not stated in thier religion. Those you can't form a thoughtful argument with, because they leap back to "My religion says otherwise". I kind of hate arguing with these people because I like arguing (But not like heated arguments, I guess just like debates). Good point. I'll admit I didn't look at your side of this argument, having never been a man of religion. Maybe I shouldn't have used the word "weapon" - its connotations are too grim for what I was going for. Uh, I can't really think of a better word (I was going to use "tool", but that implies you're being used and that's kind of not very nice). And on a less srsargument note (but still related), I'm actually really happy we manged to debate about this in a civil manner. I just like arguing. Yeah, I don't see every point of view, but I'd like to, and that's what arguements are for. I think I can safely walk out of this arguement and know that today, both of us won and I walked out with newfound knowledge. Oh, and ♥♥♥♥, thread derailment. I didn't think my post would spark such an outburst, but I suppose no one was hurt. I... can't say it's very fun. I'm good at shooting people that are standing still/moving in a straight line, but if they start dogding, then I'll lag the crosshair behind them, trying to catch up, and I'll fire and I'll twitch my mouse toward thier head in some inane attempt to catch up and I'll end up shooting like a yard in front of them and then they start shooting me and then I rage-switch to scout.

I can maybe kind of try to help. I'm taking Java classes, and I might maybe be able to help. Can't say I've ever worked on anything graphical, let alone an entire game.

I like your thinking!

I smell major side quest.Several times throughout the game, the Bronies and Anti-bronies will plead for help at differing times. You may help either side, help both, or ignore them when they ask. Both sides ask 2 or 3 times each, and then you are faced with a decision when they both ask you at the same time. Help the Bronies, you're permanently on thier side. Help the Anti's, you join thier side. Help neither, you back out of the side quest. If you join the bronies/anti's, you are dragged (maybe in the middle of a more important time of the plot) into more and more missions, climaxing in an all-out war, very dangerous, very challenging, very rewarding. If you backed out, the war goes on anyway but you cannot participate. No war, no army to kill, no reward, but the end boss will be easier since you focus on the boss instead of the boss and a war.

I already spent 4 hours between subSPUF and Katawa Shoujo.5 words done. 10 pages more.GG.

Fuck. Just as I thought I would have time to do my homework. JUST as I think to myself "Oh great, nothing else to procrastinate, I have things to do".Down the drain that goes.

This. Ponies are a crucial part to SPUF but damn it this is not MLPrpg, this is SPUFrpg.

Stabbed a few classmates with a pencil. Turns out if you have ADHD, you should not be drugging up on ritalin/straterra, despite what the doctor says.8th grade, shortly before our "graduation", I attacked my best friend for little reason. He wasn't hurt much, just dazed. Back then, I was a vicious sonuvabitch. The transition to High School was the opening for me to calm down and be much less kill-everything-right-the-♥♥♥♥-now.I kind of hate looking back to all the stupid things I did in the past. I almost want to think that was a different age, a different person. Usually doesn't work out. High five!Personally, I hate religion, but I'm all for the idea of there being gods. I believe they all exist in that someone somewhere believes in them with all of thier soul, and I'm not the kind of person to just say "your entire life is a lie because I think your god is fake". I usually go out of my way to refer to gods as plural. I've gotten more than a few weird looks when I say "Oh my gods".And then well religion is just infuriating to me. Believing in Jesus? That's fine and dandy. All things considered, he's a pretty cool guy, along with all other central religious figures.Believing in what some pastor thinks a crotchety old man thinks a book says about some guy that thinks he heard what Jesus said? No. Religion is no more than a weapon. To some, a weapon against despair. To others, a weapon with which to rouse the dependant and to march them to advance some malicious goal.

Just finished Lilly's route. And all of Katawa Shoujo. It's just... beautiful. It really is, the both of them. Lilly's route is beautifully written, almost mundane given the circumstances of this Visual Novel, and it's almost cliche, but damn it it's cliche because it works. It really is the best route, alongside Rin's. The ending is enough to drag at your heart and make you think you hit the bad ending, and bring you back up and drag you back down and the whole time you don't want it to stop. Anyone reading this that has yet to actually play Katawa Shoujo, download it. Play it. You will not regret it I promise you. Depending on how deep your views are, you might even walk out with new insight on life or love or what have you. But play this game/read this novel.

After some prodding by Cell, I've found my old Emerald. The first and last Pokemon game I had ever played, barring the spin-offs.I hadn't touched this in 7 years. The DS I originally played this on had been dead for years. My brother's DS is broken at the hinge. I've managed to dig up my brother's old SP, in less-than-perfect condition. The poor battery can't hold a charge for more than 4 hours.BUT GOD DAMN IT ITS BEAUTIFUL TO HAVE MY CHILDHOOD AGAIN.

Nope, Jag Whacking got derailed since the first reply. This took some time.

This, but it'd need tweaking. You could stand still and wail on the final boss and feel cheated of the SPUFgame experience.
-
Weaponry. Rammite Productions. Make it happen please.I can be the asshole merc company that makes weapons for the bad guy just because he pays a lot.

No, even better, a manufacturer, like Borderlands. Your name is just perfect for one of those.Gold Standard Helmets/Armors/things like that.

It should be like Left 4 Dead's system. Timeout until something helps you (Teammate, Necro Post, whatever).Coming back from Timeout will revive you with 1/2 health. Heal yourself to high health (Enough to put you "In Good Standing") and you'll be all right. This could be a simple boolean marker that ticks when your health is maybe 80%.If you can't properly heal yourself and you Timeout, your health is again set to 1/2 health, and you are "In Danger of Ban". The only way to fix this is to heal yourself up to the 80% mark. If you do so, you aren't in danger any more and it's like your death streak never happened. If you can't heal yourself properly and you are downed a third time, you're dead no questions asked.
