My manager found a more permanent desk for me - Margaret's office, who will be on vacation the whole time I'm working. Margaet is a fucking disgusting excuse of a human being there are food stains and crumbs and a few old toothbrushes and and some floss and a footbrush and a half full cup of something. There was a bottle of windex and no less than two full rolls of paper towels, and this place still looked disgusting - and the trash bin was full on paper towels, meaning shortly before I moved in, it was even more disgusting.   and dont get me started on the seat i have to be sitting on at least 50 different stains ;_;

Fuck, I really hate my mom sometimes. The second anything counters her views, she just breaks down and acts like a kid, complete with guilt tripping and shitty attempts at garnering pity. Combined with her blatant racism against blacks (and her staunch refusal to remember all the times she insults blacks), she's enforced a no-go zone for basically anything political in this house. If me and my dad are talking about the economy or police brutality or whatever, my mom will waltz up and proudly blame it on the blacks. She's almost like your stereotypical tumblr troll, like she thrives on saying controversial things, sparking a fight, then playing the victim. And on the extremely rare occasions I back off and remind myself I'm being an asshole, she'll jab me with insults for the next few days in an attempt to get a rise out of me, just to feel better about herself.   My dad was watching the recent video of that one white cop that holds a black girl down, then pulls a gun on the two black boys looking to contest him. My mom comes in, only sees the part where he pulls the gun, then says "why didn't he shoot" in chinese. What the fucking christ?

Goddamn that's a steal For Pokemon, simulate fatigue. You can only use each pokemon for 5/10/15/whatever fights before it's too tired to keep fighting and you have to put it back into the box. All pokemon are rejuvenated after defeating a gym leader.

So far my job at IBM has been entirely uneventful because the main person who wrote the code isn't back from a vacation, so I'm just pouring over the code without have any official assignment. I ran into another intern on the same project (slightly different job) who started two weeks ago and he said it was mostly the same for him - his first week, he was bored out of his mind and had nothing official to do. He said I was lucky because at least I have the source code to look at.   You would imagine I'd be all excited that I have no obligations, but I still feel like I shouldn't be goofing off constantly, and like I need to be supes productive.

I personally think if your game is less than 2 hours, then it wasn't very deserving of anyone's money. Any indie developer that wants to seriously make money with steam needs to put serious work on their game. In the real world, if I was making something (anything - woodworking, software, automobiles, novels) and I shat out a ridiculously low quality thing compared to what's on the market, no fucking shit people won't buy it.

I think they phased out the alchemizer and all that because we had already gotten like 4 montages of making shit - it'd be boring to bring it up again and again. I feel like making new rings would be 'against the rules' of the game, or at least incredibly difficult. Roxy still hasn't unvoided the Matriorb, it'll be some time until she can unvoid a ring of power.

So I use my credit card a lot more frivolously since I had that paid teaching job and I started my job at IBM. My brother will ask for stuff to buy, then pay me back in cash. He noticed today's team sales.

First day at IBM was uninteresting because the first half was me meeting with the 8 other new interns and touring around (pretty cool), and the second half was me fucking around with the work laptop that was given to me, just trying to get it to run properly.
