So my brother has his own circle of friends that met over Lost Saga, and I play Dota/League with them regularly. One of them disappeared for a bit before telling us she was joining the marines as a translator.   Today is her birthday, and also the day she officially becomes a marine. That's really fucking cool.

I'm typing this from my dad's cubicle at IBM. He talked to a manager and she said she was interested in meeting me, before even looking at my application. I freaked out over the weekend and came here in super snazzy attire. The interview was VERY quick, maybe 5 minutes. She asked what my programming background was like, what I've done, and what I expect to gain out of this job. Problem with that is I haven't really DONE anything with my programming. Last year, I worked alongside a team in Scotland on an android application that lets you control RC cars, but that was my only real work. She answered everything with very impartial answers and looked like she was judging the fuck out of me and overanalyzing my answers. Ended up saying her group needed a bit more experience, but she'd ask one of her sub-managers in UI for a good entry point for me. However, that sub-manager is on vacation and I won't get any response until friday-ish.   I was hoping to leave this building with a concrete yes or no, but now i just get to worry for longer.

iirc the devs mentioned that the skill tree is supplementary to the stat progression that we're used to from KF1. Do we have any numbers on those?

IIRC they go over all 4 perks in one of their videos. It might be the hour long one where TB plays with the devs and meets Hans.

Lord English isn't Caliborn, he's an ungodly amalgamation of CaliAriquiuZee?   I also remember Hussie saying Gamzee can't die because he's the most important character in the story. The MPSA forums are suggesting that he couldn't die up until now, because his halfsoul was needed to create Lord English. Since that's done, he could actually be dead now... but permadeath and Homestuck tend to not get along.
