I agree with this. eSports are going to be a laughingstock for a generation or two, because people are going to hold on tightly to the idea that sports should be physical only, and because it's not a particularly important social issue to address, there isn't going to be any force to push eSports acceptance. We just kinda have to wait until we replace today's old farts.

Sticking with Steam is easier.   If there is enough interest in a separate IRL secret santa, I could make a separate Secret Santa, because the best way to do a IRL Secret Santa would be to send your addresses to me, and then I'll pass the address to your Santa - So the recipient doesn't know what to expect and it's actually a secret.

I always thought the steam sales looked poopy because all the good deals, I already had. It kinda sucks to hear that it's the fault of the sale, and not the consumer.
