He said in one blog post (i read it just today, I think it was when he revealed the characters) that the characters aren't supposed to be balanced. Some are inherently easier/harder than others.

I know a few people that will happily pirate games to test the waters if there isn't a demo or the demo's shit. I figure that if they either get bored of it or end up paying for it, it's cool.   People that outright pirate indie games deserve a special place in hell, though

I agree with some of the common 'complaints' - the soundtrack is good, but still inferior to classic BoI, and it's certainly easier. I suck ass at BoI, and I'm consistently getting to the Depths.

Ehh, gifts were a fuckin pain 2011. You can't say "Just get good" because there are always better people and they took every single gift. It was like the cranky elderly couple was giving away king size Snickers bars, but some older kids would try to punch you in the face to steal ti from you. If the cranky elderly couple saw someone get punched in the face, they'd yell "Stop getting punched and you'll get candy".

Recently I've just poured all of my time into Monster Hunter 3U. Haven't even touched Sm4sh or Dota recently, bought the new Tomb Raider when it was $4...   AND YET I MUST FARM MORE NARGA MEDULLAS

We're getting real close to the end of Series 1 AMAs, so we need to figure out what to do. We have one AMA queued up after this, meaning Saturday November 8th will be the last day of regular AMA scheduling.   As I see it, we have 4 options:   1. Get more people to sign up for AMAs. This really only prolongs the life of the first run of Series 1 AMAs, so we'd have to look towards the next 3 options later on.   2. Loop back to the AMAs in order, starting with me. If someone one signs up for an AMA, they will be put to the front of the queue, then we resume looping back to previous AMAs.   3. Simply do a second run of Series 1 AMAs. This would in effect be the same thing as option 2, but with different ordering and a personal choice in case you don't want to answer a second AMA.   4. Nothing. Allow the Series 1 AMA to die off until someone new makes a thread.

Metro 2033 does a lot of things right, imo. I haven't played Last Light, though.
