Goddamn I got my 3DS eShop cards for $40 and was totally set on Shovel Knight but you said that and now I'm reconsidering a Link between Worlds.   I haven't really enjoyed a Zelda game since Phantom Hourglass.

I whiffed like 80% of my cymbal clashes, and whiffed 90% of the follow up A Trains. - Some way to close the distance because Big Band is slow as crap and the minicombo of s.MK -> Brass Knuckles H leaves me horrendously vulnerable.

  I don't own a 3DS but I've heard Fire Emblem Awakening is excellent.     Already got that. SUCH A GOOD GAME No, and I'm not 100% sure if I'm into the Mario and Luigi series. Bowser's Inside Story was meh
