For my birthday (a whole fucking month ago because i'm too lazy to use a gift card), a friend gave me a $30 gift card to Best Buy. I was gonna buy some money for my 3DS and get a game.   Any suggestions? I was thinking maybe Link Between Worlds.

i just really like this game   http://littlewargame.com/play/   A boiled down RTS, and probably the best entry point into the RTS genre. No download, no install, no plugins, no sign ups, you can literally just click the link and be in a match within 30 seconds. There's only 8 buildings and only 6 units and yet an amazing amount of depth fit in matches ranging from 10 to 30 minutes.   For example, one guy could be spending the first few minutes toiling over a strong economy, while another rushes Catapults to quickly destroy buildings, and another scouts out weak points in a base for when he attacks with his army and his Dragons fly over trees and walls to surround the enemy, as yet another shoves his gold into unit upgrades to get a strong enough rifleman squad to stave off the dragons...

So the 2 Big Band combos that I can pull from muscle memory:   cr.MP x2 -> cr.HK -> Brass Knuckles H -> Super Sonic Horn Cymbal Clash H -> A Train H -> Super Sonic Horn   I'm terrifically bad at landing the super sonic horns though because I can't always press both punches at the same time, it's like my fingers aren't in sync.     Should I focus on longer combos, or just know more short ones to keep it tough to predict?   Also, is it bad that I haven't actually touched multiplayer (except for a quick 1v1 with my brother)?

I really like the multiplayer. It's short and condensed, but there's also enough depth for a solid RTS.   I'm a fan of getting an early tower in some unbelievably annoying spot, then rushing two barracks to start pumping out an equal amount of soldiers and riflemen. For the big push, I'll micro some catapults to work on their structures and try to micro my mages to Flamestrike their army.

From what I've picked up, Touhou 8 or 10 are the best ones to start with.   The problem is that the different touhou games have entirely separate plots, but major characters will appear throughout several games and also asstons of minor one-shot characters crop up but everyone loves them and before you know it, you've been sucked in

Literally never go anywhere without wearing a RIng of Life Protection. There are 3 hidden around the game, and the earliest is No Man's Wharf. When you go up the first set of stairs with an oil-slinging Vangarian blocking your way, turn left and smash every bookcase/closet you see.

Can you post a picture of your stats? High Agility is important for some boss fights, and paramount for PVP.
