I have ended my 120 hour run of Dark Souls 2 by attempting to get most items in the game (barring ones with like 1% drop chances), killing all optional bosses, and farming assfucks of souls. For good measure, I killed every NPC before I New Game+'d.   i have thus far been invaded by 10 arbiter spirits because i killed all those npcs and THIS WAS A BAD IDEA. I can manage to put up a good fight, and killed some players, but every damn time I notice my world's getting invaded, my heartrate speeds up.

I had to use youtube guides to beat certain parts of it, like that door where you have to make the single most convoluted cross in non-existence.   The ending will certainly stick with me for a while. It's not like touching or anything, but it's.. special. The game doesn't have a plot in the normal sense, but nothing about Antichamber is normal.

Spiral Knights was cool, but then I left because of the Mist Energy limit.   And then they removed that so I went back for a little, but I wasn't as attached to it as the first time around, so I left again.

Chrome, but I used Firefox for the single longest time before that.

Mmm, this. I was an Alliance fanboy last year, but they've been slacking as of late, and the new DK looks like an unstoppable juggernaut of murder.

In 24 hours, we have raised more money than we ever did for TI3.   We've doubled the base prizepool of 1,600,000 up to 3,200,000 in one day.

I've had TF2 for almost 5 years now and I've only seen a handful of aimbotters. I remember quite a few crit hackers, but they only targeted non-serious maps for whatever reason.

With Killing Floor 1, I really only had a problem once they added non-reskin weapons as DLC. However, that's still preferable to DLC maps or DLC gamemodes or nickel-and-diming everyone.

It's EA. There is no hope.

yes this is a good thing   Or maybe wait until next Monday. The Qualifiers for the yearly Valve-sponsored tournament start then, so maybe watch it and see if it pumps you up or anything.

I personally love subnormality's humor, I unno.   Also, I feel like having read Homestuck changes you. You start to tolerate reading pages of hard-to-read text, and gain an affinity for alternate universes.

  DARK SOULS UMG   Also, I recently realized that I can comfortably do one of the Parley challenge fights in Fire Emblem:Awakening within my commute to college, so that. Just beat Chapter 11! Chrom x Sully OTP. I haven't cared enough about building my unit's relationships so I regret that.   I've heard this before and I agree with it entirely - Killing Floor is the only game that does ADS right.   You don't get an increase in accuracy because hipfiring is already perfectly accurate, but you don't have a crosshair. Like an actual gun, aiming down the sights lets you know exactly where your bullets are going, but you can comfortably hipfire if you're confident in your aim, or just not caring for headshots.   Guns don't magically get more accurate by swivelling it to your shoulder, you get more accurate. Games that artificially enforce this with changing the accuracy do a fair job of it, but it also makes hipfiring near useless. 

The big shuffle last september that gave us the current DK changed everything. I'm certain DK will AT LEAST get into the semi-finals.

Sweet holy jesus I'm hyped   I played it in PAX East - It's just fucking awesome. It was the same gameplay snippet as last year, so there should be many videos of it.

Ideas are finicky. Literally anyone can make a game idea, and that idea usually ends up scrapped as interesting game mechanics crop up - or worse, game mechanics inhibit an idea - that being The Idea Guy is an entirely useless role.   If you can coordinate all this, that's a different thing. People are just as finicky and getting them to work is tough.     I'm not sure what I can contribute, and I am certain I cannot contribute until May 25th, when I end my college semester. I might be able to wrestle with MUGEN, though.

I've heard of Titan and Newbie like ONCE, and practically none of the American Qualifier teams.

I need to stop taking mini hiatuses to play Dark Souls because then all this happens.
