Okay so I'm 100% set on buying Fire Emblem: Awakening, but what DLC should I get to start off with, if any?

Damn, 2 years? Really puts things into perspective.

Ooooh. One of my friends loves Cait, I'll show him this.

No one likes the Space stage because it's just like "OH FUCK WE FORGOT TO MAKE AN END GAME, BETTER TOSS ALL THIS STUFF ON"

My english teacher last year had this poster! She was a really morbid person. The class was specifically a Mystery/Horror English class, though, so we didn't see anything wrong with it.

They're OKAY, but the bots have a nasty habit of not noticing what you do, ever. If you initiate and CC the entire enemy team, your teammate bots are probably just going to hide behind tower. They tend to communicate between themselves very well, though. Early game, they used to jungle with heroes that were shitacular at jungling and then they'd leave at about 5% health. Now they really only jungle after the 20 minute mark or so, if nothing's happening and they want farm.

But that literally only unlocks a single cosmetic. It's a good cosmetic and all but suffers from Gibus syndrome - It can be achieved too easily and is seen as ugly because of it.

Strange, that's not how you spell League of Legends Now you made this thread for the sake of going "Let's have a civilized discussion about which one is better" and then going "LOL FUCK YOU FEGGETS LOL MUSTARD RACE" Countering one silly reply with another is suddenly bad? Honestly, your reply looked pretty serious.

That is assuming Bernk doesn't ban us all first.

Both are fun, but I insist that Dota is the better esport. Riot's method of balance bothers me insanely because when you have 118 champions, the single worst thing to do is to *have them all be the same*. Riot will balance OP champs by nerfing strengths and specialities, and that means every champ is brought in line with each other in that every champ is far too similar. Icefrog's way of balancing is to instead widen a hero's weaknesses, creating just as much counterplay while keeping all 112 (107 since Icefrog isn't really balancing the heroes that have yet to be ported) heroes perfectly distinct. When you have 112/107 different play styles (and actually much more because Heroes, despite being specialists, are better than Champions at fulfilling different roles) , every single game is different. There is a bigger emphasis on strategy and less on reflex, because there simply cannot be a broad singular tactic to win. I am also really not liking the idea of a skill-based sport require tons of time or money. Anything less and you will be at a disadvantage before your abilities as a player and as a team are even considered.

My logic was that if you wanted to be banned, that means you didn't want to visit the site. If you didn't want to visit, you could just... not visit. This one came under a fair amount of discussion and will probably change by the time the next guy literally wants to be banned.

At this point, if Valve ever releases HL3, ever, it will undoubtedly be met with dissapointment. It could be the very best game to ever exist, but Valve fans will be expecting more and more.

I'm not going to this Anime Boston, but my brother is. yeee

How are we going to manage this with the region swapping? Most of us would have to practically drop everything and start a new collection, or use the stock decks which sounds not fun at all. But still: Rammite #1819 Best Worst Paladin NA

My experience so far with Anime Boston: I went 2011 as my first convention and well it was uh interesting

It's a callback to the original Civ-basically, Gandhi's aggressiveness was set at 1 normally. However, adopting Freedom puts your aggressiveness back 2. This caused a bug where he'd go into the negatives and then the computer would put him at 12 to compensate, resulting in the hyper-aggro nuke-crazy guy we all know and love (Because you usually got your ideology around the time you got nukes). Firaxis basically just keeps that in now as a joke. Imma nitpick - It didn't set nukes to 12 to compensate, the problem was a bit overflow: -1 didn't fit back then, so the data value for gandhi's nukes looped around to 127. It's 12 nowadays because civ abilities will vary every game, -/+2. It's 12 so that it will always be 10 or above.

I'm not gonna lie, I teared up when hyhy started talking about his girlfriend. Anyone watching Free To Play as their first real look into competitive Dota wouldn't get it as much as we did, but knowing who won, who walked away with a million dollars, who got their dreams crushed into powder... that hurt. Also, the entirety of Dendi's backstory about his father. It's powerful stuff. I was holding out on one line that I hoped they said, and I was hoping Jeremy Lin was gonna say it but he never did: "It's not a game. You can't think of Dota as a game. Once you start thinking of Dota as a sport, then all the pieces start to come together."

If Nintendo and Valve ever teamed up, gaming would be entirely revolutionized. We might not even recognize pre-Nintenvalve games as games anymore.
