Guys Deadpool is fucking great, just saw it with Britt By the time it's halfway done, there simply is no longer a fourth wall but it's still a damn solid superhero movie and you so desperately want the bad guy to have his arm ripped off violently I overheard one guy ask: If Deadpool is decapitated what happens? Does his new body grow out from his old head? His new head grow out from his old body? Both of the above happen and we have two Deadpools? Neither happen, and Deadpool is straight dead?

I got CONSORTIUM a while ago because they were giving it away on Steam and it's ehhhh They make it clear that a major plot point is that you aren't just playing a character, you're actually controlling a person in a different universe. They use the parallel universe thing to make diverging storylines a thing, and different actions will lead to radically different campaigns - but because of this, a single playthrough is like 4 hours, but there are many multiple campaigns to find yourself in to really dig at the backstory. BUT THE COMBAT IS SO BAD It really shows that they set out to make this really deep story with a ton of branches and neat stuff but tacked on the combat as a last second thought so it'd look like a game. What really pisses me off is when everyone chastises me for killing enemies - They just boarded our ships and are shooting as us with lethal guns! They want to kill literally everyone on board! Why the fuck is it so bad for me to fight back?

Pillars has some really rough edges and Divinity is a much stronger game in that regard, but Divinity doesn't lack story, it shoves it in front of you in a rather annoying, ineffective, and cumbersome way. Annoying in-your-face plot can be worse than no plot, so it really depends on what you're looking for.

Oh my fucking christ, their Spelunky playthrough is absolute gold. Ross gets to fuck everyone over to amazing results, Miles Luna is perfectly in sync with the grump brand chaos, and Barry continues to move like they do.

IMO phone emulation works best with games where reflexes aren't required. Touch pads are finicky and janky and dumb compared to a physical D-pad. I'd also toss in FF6 (roms might be labeled FF3) SNES emulators are also a great place to dig into.

fuckin i got Barony for pretty cheap and it's a great game and really brings roguelikes back to its roots (you know, games like Rogue) and it's generally a pretty damn a okay game EXCEPT THE FUCKING ROCKS THEY ACTUALLY HAVE A 'ROCKS FALL, EVERYONE DIES' TRAP If you're not paying attention to the walls you might miss a poison dart trap or the spikes that jut out from the walls, but if you go in line with a large hole in the ceiling (and the draw distance is horrendous to emulate a sort of fog of war) then a boulder drops out of the hole and instantly kills anything it touches.

I will never forgive UberEnt for ripping SMNC to shreds. Thier showed their true colors when they tossed a half-born PA out in the open and immediately started crowdfunding Human Resources. I'm so glad they never get a cent for that.

Factorio is coming to Steam soonish. It's what can only be described as an automated factory Minecraft, very similar to things like Infinicatory or SpaceChem. This guy spends some time talking about stuff but like 14 minutes in, he loads a save file where he's just got tons and tons of robots doing crazy shit and this sort of stuff gives me a nerd boner.

IMO Killing Floor 2 is fine as long as its sticks to mostly cosmetic stuff and the scarce few weapon packs. Killing Floor 1 only had three gameplay-changing DLC over the better half of a decade, I feel like that's perfectly reasonable. It sure would be nice if they just added anything at all. It seems like it'll be an eternity for Sharpshooter to be added.
