I've played all of them since the PS2 ones (which are my favorites, like I find Dragon Ball Budokai 3 way better than these recent ones that have 200 characters but only 10 different moves) Of course, the Ultimate ones are REALLY unbalanced, many characters have bullshit combos and jutsus, like Deidara has this insane air shuriken combo that homes, deals a lot of chip damage and its so fast to do that your opponent cant dodge or try to get near. I really wish Jump and Namco did a 2D fighter again, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure turned out amazing, just make a Jump Ultimate Stars with that as a reference

It reminds me when me and my cousin watched a 'high level' PS2 Naruto match. Both players picked the same character, Sasori with his Hiruko armor. All they did was stand at the melee range limit, while standing back to back, since this character would block any shurikens that hit his back and the entire fight was resumed into each other throwing shurikens, turning his back to the other player and trying to land a hit and the frames before the other throws a shuriken. It was basically watching a harden-only Metapod battle. Me and my cousin were like, shit man, we must be the noobiest of them all, since we played with literally every charcter in the game and sometimes our round count would reach the 99th round limit.

The Haunt being way too tanky and annoying for the first floor in the game. I mean, it is already pretty annoying to fight as Isaac or Maggie, as every other character is a massive pain to get past it, with the 3 little haunts and then you have to keep leading him while watching out for the spread shot and brimstone. In my opinion, it appears a bit too much, I almost never had a fight with the Widow and the Wretched.
