Getting back from this. Got a copy out of pirate bay, played until the Space part. Its okay. Playing it makes me feel that it is really lacking a lot. The cell stage is okay, but its really limited, the enemy cells can have 3x-4x more parts than you, so it gets a bit boring to avoid most stuff, die anyway because every enemy has 10 spikes around him or see it run away with his 4 jets. The creature stage is my favorite, but the editor really fucks it up. Since you need to upgrade your stats, you will have to use with parts you dont want, and 2/3 of the mouths are locked, what if I want to use the Shark jaw on my herbivore warmonger alien? The tribe stage is meh, just a cheap Age of Empires. Put one or 2 creatures fishing, arm the others with axes and its all easy peasy. The civilization stage is also meh, just make a 3:2 ratio of Guns/Health on your vehicles and put the factories and cinemas the right way to maximize spice and hapiness. Now the space stage is confusing. The interface is everywhere, you can barely know what to do or where to go, the upgrades cost too much and making colonies is so annoying that sometimes you have to spend millions to make the planet atmosphere.

That I remember, bots are only programed to ward the 2 cliffs near the rune spawns. Also, they do farm the jungle, or used to. I remember back then, that some bots (Tidehunter was one of them) would jungle at level 1, do a terrible job at it, and you would have a lane with just one bot and an underleved, low-health bot running around the jungle. Sometimes they would stop running away to farm jungle bots, but I think they fixed that. Was hilarious to see a bot run away after all its team was wiped out, only to find him on the nearliest neutral camp.

I so called the 3rd episode of Spore. Its a shame, because they will miss a lot of the game for some cheap humor about dicks.

Its pretty much Duke Nukem Forever again. As Yahtzee said, its not that it will never be released, but it should never be released, because nothing they do will live to years (currently 7) of antecipation. They would have to do a game so big, pretty and awesome that all these years of nothing will be forgiven.

Everytime there is a VAC ban wave, Valve puts CSGO on sale. Cheaters can spend like $3 on a single account, or stock up on copies until the next ban wave. Since Valve is getting money, I dont think they will go after the alts. I already knew that they would never do something about hacking after TF2 went f2p. I mean, really, they could barely stop cheaters when the game was paid and then they just go 'Dont worry guys, we got this (Nah fuck that)' and leave it be. At least its not as bad as Payday 2, where cheating is as easy as getting a LUA Hook, writing a few commands and you can build your own cheat engine. Totally undetectable since the game has no sort of anti-cheating (unless someone records you doing it), you can do anything from a simple godmode and killing everyone in the map to killing your teammaters and reseting everyone's cash and level to 0.

It really wont happen for a few decades or so, I would say. Right now Valve is focused on Eeeeeeeee-sports (and getting money out of it) and somewhat on the Steam OS. They already noticied that TF2 doesnt needs attention, even if they dont add anything for a year and just slap a hundred community-made hats, they will still get money from all the keys. I wouldnt be surprised if CSGO goes F2P and they get all the money with case keys and map packs.
