I feel RPGMaker are the worst offenders. Yes, there is a truckload of Unity and Gamemaker shovelware, but they usually look different from each other. The worst I saw from Unity games were 3 or 4 games that use the exact same 'Unturned Zombie Survival' paid asset, with minimum to no changes, they just paid for the asset pack and managed to put that shit on Steam. If I go to Steam, search the RPGMaker tag and pick 10 random games, there is a high chance that at least 8 of them use the exact same assets. And probably none of them works propely or have an ending.

MvCI Dante looks like Donte on that scene with the mop. I thought they had ripped some models straight from SFV, but I guess they look even worse. Once again, they should have kept the comic book style.

All but Bethesda did a good job this year, I would say. Microsoft Sony Bethesda EA Ubisoft Nintendo

Oh god, I do hope it at least reduces the amount of RPGmaker games. Not that its a bad engine, LISA was made on it, but there are so many half-assed, unfinished, glitched piles of shit that only uses stock assets with the most uninspired stories ever made.

Wasnt the Superstar Saga remake leaked/datamined a few months ago?
-
Huh, two Metroid games. I never got to play Prime, but the 2D ones were always pretty good. Maybe thats why they killed the fanmade Metroid 2 remake.

So from what I got from the Steam Direct FAQ, all that changes is that people dont need to vote for your game anymore, you just pay the fee, give some bank/tax information and your game can be on Steam, with a one month wait if you are a new/unknown developer. Doesnt that means MORE shovelware on Steam?

Pretty much noone around here gets hyped with E3 anymore. Your average hardned gamer knows publishers only show their best foot at the E3, and everything can and will be downgraded, butchered and changed. Its all prerendered trailers and/or scripted "gameplay footage with actual ingame graphics", and anyone with 2 brain cells will wait until the game is released and there is actual game footage and reviews around. Anyone that preorders based on E3 videos is asking to get scammed.

I guess the Ubisoft conference was not terrible. Mario & Rabbids: Its just XCOM Crew 2, was the first one even good? Assassin's Creed Black Flag: Only the ship fight parts. I laughed at the stock BWAAANNN music. Where is the weird dancing guys...? Oh, there they are. Was pretty quick this year. No Man's Skylanders: Modular Amiibos edition, "Its like DLC" More South Park. Beyond Good and Evil 2, after 3000 years. (I never played the first one) ....And its actually a prequel? And from what the new Ass Creed 'gameplay' showed.... its just another Ubisoft game. Towers, climbing, marking, forts, bases, etc, etc.

E3 got to a point that there is nothing worth to see. Its just more of the same, lots of prerendered trailers, lots of lies, no innovation. I mean, most games I want to get are usually shown outside E3. They are actually putting stuff that looks like mods on the Switch version (Link's costume, Master Sword/Shield). There is also the paid mods third-party content you can get with BethCreds.

lol, that is just amazing. "Is this just paid mods?" "No, mods will still be free, but these ones will be paid"

There is also the part where they got actors to play as 'gamers'. This whole trailer reminded me of the Division/Ghost Recon Wildlands trailer. Opens with "ingame footage" (which I'm confused about, looked like a prerendered trailer until Mr Wrinkledface shoed up), same focus on 'look at all this shit you can do', while 4 guys speak in "gamer" lango, talking about exp and quests while totally-not-scripted stuff plays. That said, its just Destiny. At least we have Todd to do something memeworthy in a few hours then Ubisoft's trainwreck tomorrow (like always)

Lots of temporary exclusives, one box for $250, the other for $500.

So EA is publishing good stuff and there is a new Bubsy game coming? Are these the signs of the apocalypse?

Thanks bb. -
Gotta get that extra money/exp. I wonder how long it will keep that many players when they notice half of the game is locked behind DLCs (or when they notice they can just download a mod to unlock said DLCs because spaghetti code). Although I would be more worried at how many people purchased H1Z1 and Playerwhatshisface's Battlegrounds. Is battle royale that popular now?

Why are we talking about newcomers and rep, I thought this thread was about Trump doing stupid shit. -
While Paradox increased their game prices 50%-100% on several countries, Bethesda just reduced Doom's price by 70%. Now if they only would fix the Skyrim pricing for me, since it costs 30% more than the US price. By comparison, the original costs $19.99/R$39.99 ($1:R$2), but SE costs $39.99/R$169.90 ($1:R$4.25). It would be cheaper for me to buy it through another online store and pay the exchange rate (around $1:R$3.30) than get it on Steam.

I wonder how much Huff can relate to this video -
If Shaq Fu can have a sequel, I dont see why Bubsy couldnt.

The only forum I used before this (and SPUF) was a Private Server Ragnarok Online forum. I remember that I got a lot of people banned ingame, there was a rule that you couldnt set up shops on the roads of the cities, you had to do it on a special room. If anyone reported, you would get a 14 day ban. If I didnt had anything to do, I would walk around looking for people to report. I guess I had some serious issues back then. I remember then I got a leader of one of the biggest clans banned a few hours before the Imperium Wars (basically a clan PvP war). I kept jumping on the same spot he was and he got so pissed that he started to shout swears, and I'm like 'lol banned' and made a report on the forums. The thread filled with posts from this clanmates, but he got banned anyway. Great times. -
I think it got so bad that Battleborn was 50% off on the first month of being released. I know it was released almost at the same time than Overwatch and the people that got Battleborn complained of bad optmization and REALLY slow progression system.

Valve are genius, they found out they can get millions/billions of dollars without making games or anything. Do an item for some Dota hero, give it some sparkles and a few new animations. Slap a $40 price on it and hundreds of people will still buy it. Pick a few weapons and hats and lock it behind a gamble for $2.50 each try. Tell your community they can get money by doing items for them. The creator only gets 25% of the money per item sold, Valve gets 75%. I'd say the only time they fucked up big time was when they tried to push paid mods. They probably thought that 'We are Valve, they will eat it up'.

I just noticied that Battleborn is now a F2P game. I would feel bad for Gearbox but they kinda had it coming. Also I cant forgive them for what they did to Borderlands.
