WOW I JUST NOTICIED WHY THEY MADE ALL THIS! Looking around, one of the "modders" for the paid mods is a guy that makes Dota stuff, literally all 3 'mods' he put there are Dota skins. Skyrim is one of the most played games on Steam, so Valve wanted to profit out of this, but they couldnt add microtransactions to it like on Dota/TF2/CSGO. Since Skyrim wasnt built to support microtransactions, the only thing Valve could somehow profit from were the mods! This is why you can 'trade' the mods and store them on your Steam inventory! IT WAS THE ONLY WAY TO ADD MICROTRANSACTIONS! I fear other highly played games will also get affected by this in the future. GTA V, Civ V, Garry's Mod, maybe even Payday and Dont Starve. I know Valve wont go back, since they are doing all this damage control so people pay for the mods (hiding rating, blocking discussions and comments, banning users from community)

Talking back on the paid mod shit Valve actually changed the rating system because of this. OH. WOW. They also blocked voting on the other mods, you cant vote at all, they are all greyed out and only shows 'Not enough ratings' and a select few somehow have 4 stars with around 20-30 votes.

​That still doesnt changes the fact that the modder is losing 75% of what he would get (if a retarded user bought the mod (blarg)) through Steam just to bend over to Valve/Bethesda instead of giving directly to him through a donation. And no, Bethesda wouldnt think of that. Really, Valve are the ones that would pull such thing and I do hope to users push this shit back into their asses, but knowing how life goes with Steam and Valve decisions, the shit will stay around making the entire room stink. I mean, WHAT THE FUCK are they thinking? 'Lets pick one of the greatest points of PC Gaming and SHIT ALL OVER IT FOR PROFIT'

Putting prices on mods like they are legit DLC is just plain retarded and greedy, even more that Valve gets 75% of the price for no reason, probably their economist pulled another of his 'how to get money from nothing' ideas like they did with game cards. I will predict a lot of problems with this, such as stolen mods, obscene prices and low quality shit. Its pretty simple, people who buy mods are retarded and deserve to be laughed at, no less. Anyone with half a brain will keep using Nexus and donating directly to the modder instead of giving Valve 75% of the money so other people can profit out of the modder's work.
