Went ahead and saw what sort of nonsense that is. I don't have enough walls to bang my head on.

On a side note, if anyone of you is going to buy a car, I can give you tips/hints, too.

there would be no disadvantages asides from gas economy from having it off, aside form possible extra engine wear. since you are in Denver, I would assume the area would be rather hilly, so it would be alright to turn it off. yes, no light means its on, it usually lights up if it is switched off.
-
If it is on your gearshift, It would most likely be O/D, standing for overdrive, just another term for how many times the engine spins in relation to how many times the wheels spin. It is on by default on most cars. the propose is for power transformation, for example, if one is towing a load, one would press the button to turn it off, to put less strain on the engine, one can also turn it off when driving downhill to assist braking. another thing it does is fuel economy, when it is on (usually), the engine will spin slower in relation to speed, using less gas.

I do like his SVF buff, though.

Unless its a transformer or KITT, I highly doubt it. common sense, if a car has a rear end crash, salvage the front end stuff, like the engines or whatnot, choose a frame from a car with an internal failure, such as engine failure, that and get the help of a experienced technician that is willing to work for free to put it together
