Well, I don't post much here now, but turns out this year, two of my remaining uncles got diagnosed with advanced lung cancer, one passed already and one is in pretty bad shape, gonna go visit him while I still can.

had one of those moments where you get sleep paralysis right before waking up, so a semi dreamstate, but didnt realize it at the moment.

It was  the usual demon/shadow people trying to scare me, but all I could move was my head, so I did the "look at a clock once, then then away and look again, if the time changed drastically, its a dream": trick, and lo and behold, it was a dream after all.

Told the shadow to fuck off and let me sleep, it looked visibly dissapointed by my reaction. It then vanished in a puff of smoke.

So, I also got to drive a Tesla model 3 this time for an another alignment, and it is even more bare bones than the Mustang Mach-E, it literally looks as if an Apple engineer fell in love with fake wood trim and designed a car, it had just a big touchscreen in the center of the dash, no start button, no info button save for 2 scroll wheels on the steering wheel, you had to tap on the brakes with the key in hand to start it, maybe its just me, but I prefer more physical buttons and knobs over a giant touchscreen.

I'm running on 10 year old hardware, so I need some upgrades

unlimited budget, but I prefer to keep it under 2k USD,  I havent read up much on whats new with new computer tech since 2016 ish , so I am a bit out of the loop.

I got to drive a electric car (mustang mach-e) a few days ago for a wheel alignment, its a surprisingly quiet and comfortable ride, but I really can not tell apart the interiors of new cars anymore, too many touchscreens, too little tactile feedback, no manufacture tries to make the insides unique anymore.

Had a dream where I was in a foreign place, the signs were in chinese, english, and cyrillic,, and the architecture looked soviet, so I assume it is somewhere near the china/russia border.

There was this convention going on, about model kits/RC and the like, and I got a bunch of goodies, saw some weird looking gunpla, (supposedly) top secret planes, and similar unreleased stuff, when I went out for a smoke break (don't smoke IRL, so no idea why), I saw on a jumbotron near the center that some country got nuked.

I started walking back to my hotel, and the area was a pig plain, with mountains in the distance, and a bunch of russian/slavic refugees was wandering all over the place, now increasingly worried about WWIII, I grabbed a moped and raced to the hotel, which had hot spring facilities built in.

The hotel was also built of bizarre architecture, kinda like a mashup of the whole liminal spaces thing.

even with the prospect of nuclear war looming, I decided to go for a dip in the hot spring, the water felt fantastic, so I fell asleep, then woke up IRL afterwards.

Kinda related, but I was playing runescape when some dude said they were loud explosions near his neighborhood and was panicking, turns out it was the start of the invasion of ukraine.

Just found out about this, I don't even play the game but damn if its strangely catchy.

I still remember on Saturdays when the show was still running, some guys would transcribe the summery of the new episode, but using  TF2 characters instead.

So I officially got a car with its title under my name recently (not for christmas, tho), 2022 Honda Insight, brand spanking new with 13 miles on the odo when picked up.

I would want to live on my own, but houses and property taxes here are at a all time high, so I struck a deal with my parents a while ago, I pay rent monthly, but it is going into my "housing fund" so I dont spend too much on junk I dont need.
