Unless I missed something and 6v6 teams are switching out their Demomen for Spies, I don't see the point of those facts.

If the Demo is being outdamaged by a support class, I'd say that's very relevant. He's not. The Spy doesn't do with the Revolver what the Demo does with the Sticky Launcher. They Spy and the Demo are very different. It's the same thing as comparing the Syringe Gun to the Flamethrower.

The Demoman doesn't have a revolver and the Spy doesn't have a stickybomb launcher so that's irrelevant.

All of the arguments against the Stickybomb nerf are under the assumption that the Demoman is now a pathetic weakling, and I think it's too early to be making that assumption. A thirty damage deficit isn't huge considering how much damage a stickybomb does. And that damage ramps up gradually for 1.08 seconds after the bomb primes. I just don't think it's going to end up a huge deal.

The Classic is basically a direct downgrade; but it looks cool, sounds cool, and gibs people you kill, so definitely worth using.

I'm gonna try to pick up A Story About My Uncle, Escape Goat, and maybe Dustforce and Sir You Are Being Hunted. And wow Red team confirmed for slackers.

I really don't think the Sticky Launcher change is a big deal. It won't be long until it's universally accepted.

I think comp will be able to adapt. I just played a few rounds as demo and honestly the change isn't that huge. Sticky spam is still viable, just slightly less so.

Conga is truly a thing of beauty.

Thoughts: Back Scatter: inb4 banned in comp instantly. Like, this seems really powerful, the kind of weapon that rewards you for doing what you were supposed to be doing in the first place. Tide Turner: Are you fucking kidding me? They get rid of an exploit but then add it back and BUFF IT because people whined. B.A.S.E. Jumper: Sounds like a great way to instantly die. Classic: I like this one. Can't wait to play around with it. Air Strike: This too. Bread: Gud. Heatmaker change is good. Axtinguisher nerf is perfect. Minigun nerf is... good? I think. Sticky Launcher nerf: Holy shit, I like this. Comp is going to change a lot because of this. Wrangler nerf sounds good. And RIP Granary lights. Biggest tragedy of this update.
