​Well, LA as a location feels tacked on and isn't as polished as the rest of the game. While I enjoyed LA's questlines, factions, and characters, they don't make sense in context of the rest of the game.

I mean, I guess caving in to crippling depression and nihilism is a totally valid response. But you could always get yourself a pet, or a volleyball. I'm surprised at the amount of defeationism. There exist hand generators and survival books. Crank flashlights and fishing rods. If you have no outdoorsy skills, hit the library. On the topic of drugs, Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas is a good book. It's also a good movie that's more or less accurate to the book.
