Am I the only one who likes Sword&Board? Bashing people in the face is always fun. Then again, I've always wanted to dual wield Shields and become Bash Master Turtleborn.

MGS HD collection is good, even if you've played MGS2/3 already, Peacewalker has tons to do and actually has good controls on console. Plus MGS2 comes with the Snake Tales and VR missions. MGS3 comes with the MSX Metal Gears. MGS Revengence is a fun action game, it does play pretty much like DMC/Bayonetta though. Okami is good, you can get the HD edition now too which should make it even prettier. It's basically a Legend of Zelda game. Some (all?) are multiplatform, but eh.

I'm sorry? I just meant there's entirely too many topics on Steam proper about it, get's tiresome after a while. I meant no ill will towards anyone here. My official stance is that they're entertaining when I/my team benefit, but annoying when I/my team get random-gibbed. On the whole I think they make TF2 unique, while not a strictly beneficial element, they add zaneyness to an industry otherwise run by graybrown shooters in graybrown maps. I'd like to think that Random crits let people grasp victory from the jaws of defeat just as much as they infuriate the recipient and randomly lose games for people.

On the one hand, It's damn satisfying nuking that tryhard soldier with a medic up his ass. On the other, it's damn frustrating losing a game to one because you were capping a point in overtime. On the whole, I think people just need to quit making such a fuss about them and deal with it. Though adding nocrit servers to quickplay would be good, but there should be a notification that you're joining one.

Anything with more substance than "Pyro and Spy fight each other, but they're dolls with too much phong" will.

They're annoying and spammy, but if half the team weren't terrible spies/snipers I think we'd have much less of an issue with them. Gunslingers really shouldn't be able to place 2/3 sentries at a time though, valve should change that.

If you listen to the commentary they explain exactly why there's an EndingTron3000 And the final boss fight is already pretty open ended. You can shoot everyone, you can win a dialogue battle to get the code to skip the whole fight, you can hack all the computers, or cheese rifle for instant victory. It's not like Old Barret where there were no options at all besides throw barrels or shoot guns.

So the knob on the side lets you adjust it forwards and backwards, which makes sense to fit different heads. But there's a piece of duct tape or metal plate or something between the visor and helmet rendering it immovable? And there's a random armor plate strapped to the top of your helmet. Seriously, a random piece of armor strapped to the top of your armored helmet. Is it covering the sunroof or something? And if it's welded on, what are the purposes of the straps? Makes no sense. /criticism Otherwise it's shaping up nicely. I look forward to wearing the final product when gets in.

Finally started a Gaige character and it's more entertaining that I was expecting. Her dialogue is annoying, but facesplatting stuff with an Anarchied up Shotgun is terrifically fun. And Blood soaked shields+regen makes you damn near invulnerable in solo play.

Wondertrade is a strange and mysterious thing. Some days you get combees named impolite things, other times you foreign dittos and protean froakies. Edit: Unrelated, but if you take a taxi without enough dosh, the driver says something along the lines of "Just what I was hoping for, this should wake me up!" and then challenges you to a battle. I was broke from buying too many repels when it happened to me.
