So it's been awhile since the BFB tweaks. Was there ever a consensus on whether or not it was overbuffed? When the tweaks came out there were loads of people saying it's better than the scattergun. But everyone seems to have shut up about it, and I'm curious if it's still seen as overbuffed or just good enough to be on par with the scattergun. Personally, I find it kinda fun to Zoom around with, but always end up preferring the simplicity of the scattergun. It's easier to get things done when I don't have to manage the boost meter on top of everything else I'm supposed to be doing as Scout.

I added what I know. At least I think it's all accurate, if someone wants to cross reference for confirmation.

I've played pretty much everything in the series except the PSP games. But I did get to play Peacewaker though the HD collection.

I was excited about the Snowball gun until I tried it in VR and discovered it's just the Flare gun sans Fireworks.

Has anyone been able to do the equip-conflicting-items trick after this update? I tried making quad shades sniper and my extra two conflicting pairs of shades all forcibly unequipped themselves after I'd equipped them using the old disable-wifi trick.

Force a Nature is overshadowed by the new Sodapopper. I've always thought the Force'a'Nature was mostly for the mobility and knocking people out of your way when you're running flags and stuff. Now the Sodapopper lets you goddamn fly and without the FaN's reload penalty or midair firing problems. Edit: By the by, I tried it in Tr_walkway. Hype Stacks with winger, but not with the Atomizer.

Diamondback is finally competitive with Spy's other revolvers. This pleases me.

hoooooooly shit. There's a video circa gen 5 of someone doing this in this thread somewhere. There was a foretress named John Henry and everything. And I thought they altered copycat this Gen to no longer allow forced-switch chaining.

The Visor (specifically the thing across the eyes) is cool, it's very Vanu. Whole thing is pretty great. Vanu really do need more fanatic/cultist hats. The hood in game is good, but it's only one item. And TR still needs your Doomguy hat.

Might have to pick up a Grenade Launcher to go with Mr Pancakes now that they're not stupid expensive. Will have to think of a name.

Am I the only one who likes Sword&Board? Bashing people in the face is always fun. Then again, I've always wanted to dual wield Shields and become Bash Master Turtleborn.

PC Mustard Race?

MGS HD collection is good, even if you've played MGS2/3 already, Peacewalker has tons to do and actually has good controls on console. Plus MGS2 comes with the Snake Tales and VR missions. MGS3 comes with the MSX Metal Gears. MGS Revengence is a fun action game, it does play pretty much like DMC/Bayonetta though. Okami is good, you can get the HD edition now too which should make it even prettier. It's basically a Legend of Zelda game. Some (all?) are multiplatform, but eh.

I'm sorry? I just meant there's entirely too many topics on Steam proper about it, get's tiresome after a while. I meant no ill will towards anyone here. My official stance is that they're entertaining when I/my team benefit, but annoying when I/my team get random-gibbed. On the whole I think they make TF2 unique, while not a strictly beneficial element, they add zaneyness to an industry otherwise run by graybrown shooters in graybrown maps. I'd like to think that Random crits let people grasp victory from the jaws of defeat just as much as they infuriate the recipient and randomly lose games for people.

On the one hand, It's damn satisfying nuking that tryhard soldier with a medic up his ass. On the other, it's damn frustrating losing a game to one because you were capping a point in overtime. On the whole, I think people just need to quit making such a fuss about them and deal with it. Though adding nocrit servers to quickplay would be good, but there should be a notification that you're joining one.

Anything with more substance than "Pyro and Spy fight each other, but they're dolls with too much phong" will.

I browse most of what's in my "New since your last Visit" tab. I do ignore DOTA/Heresy/Saloon threads though.

Has anybody listened to the new MvM loot lines? They're amusing. Soldier ~ "You can have this when you pry it from my cold dead hands! And even then, good luck, because I will have glued it to my cold dead hands!"

They're annoying and spammy, but if half the team weren't terrible spies/snipers I think we'd have much less of an issue with them. Gunslingers really shouldn't be able to place 2/3 sentries at a time though, valve should change that.
