Funfact for those of you that own FO3 and NV.There's a mod that combines the two. DLC main story and everything.It's buggy as hell, but still pretty neat. I've tried it myself and it works pretty okay.

Overwatch mode is much much much better for unit management/movement.

I still need to buy pets for my summoner.Then I can do more than run around as a civilian trying to absorb stray mana.

I've never tried any of the pets, I just used pyro or heavy all the time.(got away with it because normal difficulties)

Got a Chance to play through some of the WotL (picked it up last week before the sale *shrug*) and the balance feels really weird.Before WotL it was difficult to get lots of terribly OP items, but then the enemies were balanced such that you could out skill most of them with a lousy run.Now with WotL you get lots of OP items really quickly, but the enemies are way more punishing if you screw up or get unlucky. (Like widow on floor 1 with no damage upgrades)So it feels like in Vanilla Isaac you could powergame if you were persistent enough, but in WotL you'll probably get OP really quick if you can pass the first couple areas because of all the spiked doors and new items.

You don't need any knowledge to play the game, but you'll probably miss out on a lot of the fanservice in game. Like how Captain Tidus is the least Ultrasmurfymariney Ultrasmurfmarine that ever lived. Also how the imperial guard are basically dudes in cardboard armor shining flashlights angrily at orkz and other xenos.

Unless Thief 1/2 go on sale I'm probably going to hold onto my dosh this year.Plus, That skygrim dlc is supposed to come out right after the summer sale or something.

Welcome to the party.After three years of freeware it finally came to xbla and they won't release the updated version on steam.Color me irritated.

I just picked up the summoner and robut.I wouldn't mind beginning a level 1 venture with everyone.

It's a somewhat standard RTS in terms of combat, but all the resource gathering was streamlined. You don't need to build workers or miners or any of that stuff, you build a nest of power generators and run out capping resource points. So you have to actually fight the enemy to get the resources to build a better army. As far as the DOW1 games go, most people agree that DC is the best of the Lot. Soulstorm had more stuff, but it was less balanced. (Soulstorm also had hilarious dialogue) If you just want to mess around with the armies, Hop into a campaign and set it to easy. On Easy, the AI will barely do anything giving you plenty of time to mess around and try things out, and you still get the neat scripted missions like taking out the Necron stronghold. That might sound a bit condescending, but the AI on normal or above is a relentless cheater bum rushes you with tanks before it's even feasibly possible. Tl;Dr : Yeah DC is a pretty fun game if you like Semi Classic RTS.
