That can go both ways, though. Have I seen my fair amount of those who you just described? Hell yeah, I used to go on NMA, the hive of that sort of opinion. I've also seen my fair amount of those who refuse to acknowledge the originals, because its not made by Bethesda, or its graphics are shit, or because its turn-based, and what not. I don't think its really fair to call out only one of those groups when the other can be just as obnoxious, unless your ""true fallout fans" comment was directed towards both those groups, in which case, I agree.

No, it was specifically targeted to the """"""""""""""""""Dinosaurs""""""""""""""""""" (mass quotations so you'll understand) because it was a personal rant that I posted on this forum since I'm frequently seeing that kind of behavior coming from that group. I'm well aware that "new" fallout fans can act the same. It's a pretty average internet behavior based on arrogance and assumptions. It was just a rant.

Any suggestions on what I should scale? I was told by a friend that Mobo and CPU shouldn't be skimped on either. At the same time, I want to be able to play Fallout 4 at least smoothly on medium settings, so how far down with the GPU can I go. It's tough without any system requirements known yet. I also forgot you worked at IBM. Which is still awesome.

Why does she want you to go to a JW convention? An ill-advised attempt at converting you? Yes. Should point out that she's fairly devout, and Jehova's believe if you're pious and follow Christ you are resurrected and get to live forever in the new kingdom under god, whereas if you don't you literally just stay dead. They don't believe in hell. So, really, she just wants to spend a peaceful eternity with me, so I can't hate her for it.
