I don't see this ever ending. As long as Israel exists, somebody is going to be pissed off that there's a Jewish state in the middle east. The popular vote is really kind of pointless. All it does is influence the decisions of the delegates in the Electoral College. A candidate needs 270 electoral votes to win the election - Obama reached that number with Ohio, making it impossible for Romney to reach it. It's funny, because I'm visiting Canada and everybody here keeps saying how stupid the American election system is, which may be true, but then they're all raising their arms in joy because Obama won. But still, looks like Obama won the popular vote by one fucking tiny margin.

I'm going to a halloween party full of older people that I don't even know. Sounds like it'll be a blast!
