Specifically, the nerds among you who've built your own PCs. I'm thinking about building a gaming PC. I don't need it to be a supercharged NASA computer or anything, just something that'll play games and look good while doing it. I'm willing to spend about $1000-$1500. I can go a little higher if I have to, but I'd rather not. Any suggestions for sites to visit/parts I should get/brands to focus on? Oh, and I've never built a PC before, so please don't trick me into building a really expensive waffle iron.
