Just saw it. Uh...wow. The robot-punching action was awesome, everything else was meh. If you can let yourself submit to the hype of the action scenes without thinking too hard about the plot or logistics For example: *deep breath* So yeah. It has its flaws, and I'm sure I'll find more as the adrenaline dies down. But what really matters is that robits fighting alien godzillas is awesome. The fights are awesome, the mechs and monsters both look awesome, and watching in 3D really does give an awesome sense of...bigness! If you can look past all the plotholes, there's plenty of lovely over-the-top action to be enjoyed!

It's also certified/starred/won't-make-the-game-asplode status, which is...nice.
