Perhaps under a different name, but the same concept. I think I've found something that's been genuine fun for everybody, and a lot of people have been asking for a rematch after the SPUF v SCUD war. I think we should start doing some intra-community matches more often. How often, you ask? 2 weeks, how often! that made no sense, just roll with it. So, here's my idea: a new, community voted event every other week. Basically, [*]I'll make a group, and topic, and people join said group/follow the topic. [*]Then, every 2 weeks, I post a poll (through some website of some sort), containing a few event ideas, either from us, or suggested by the group, and everyone votes. [*]That goes through the week, then 1 week after the poll is posted, I post the results. [*]Any extra details are hashed out, such as map, up to the Wednesday of the next week. [*]Events would be held the same time and day, probably a Saturday. [*]Teams would be setup entirely the day of, from people in the group. Server's set up with a password, and its given out in the group chat. First come, first serve. [*]Following the game, a new poll is set up for next time's event. [*]Goto 10 I think this solves a lot of issues I encountered, and allows us to do this MUCH more often, AND should bring more people to the server. -No complicated team signups. -Same (or similar) set of rules every game. -More frequent traffic. Now, the only issue is that I would need some people to run events. I am working most Saturdays so while I can plan events, I can't actually run then. Now, these would generally be as simple as running some sort of preset config, using giveweapon, or just making sure people follow the rules. The usually wont last very long, and will devolve into normal play once everyone's done. I have all the planning in my head already, I just want to make sure I don't commit to something that we can't actually do. So, thoughts? Suggestions? Would you be willing to run events (most likely will need to be a server admin)? (I only need like one or two, honestly.)

That was fun! Didn't get to do a ton, though. Next week we'll do somethhing before and after the movie, hopefully. So, suggest things for next week starting.... NOW. -

Alright, vote for which movie you'd like to see! The poll will close on Friday, and the stream will show on Saturday night, at 11PM EST.
-
The stream should be live now, I'll start the movie in half an hour
-
Not. It should work
-
I think its working. Should still be on.

Ok, so, there may be an issue. Due to some family issues, I wont be near my home computer tonight. I'm going to attempt some fancy remote control wizardry, but if that doesn't work, we will have to reschedule for next Saturday.

I just had probably my best (maybe 2nd best) Solo Q game, ever. Friendly teammates, and enemies. Everyone was communicative, and the best part: There was narry a Drow, Centaur, Pudge, or Sniper to be seen. I love Least Played. I hope it stays this way, its actually a ton of fun.

That is true.

The Matrix it is then.

I do wish they would've re-textured them and left them in, those were actually really fun game modes. As far as what people are yelling at you about, wards are actually rather important, especially if you play support. As a general rule, early game you'll want vision of the runes. Place them on the clifs next to the rune spots. This both lets you see the runes, as well as any incoming ganks. Later in the game, you want them in jungles, or anywhere else you need vision. Lanes are pretty simple, once you know team composition. If your playing, for example, Jakiro, you're going to lane with a mele carry (optimally). Since you have a disable (Ice Path), and you can go to Hard Lane (top radiant, bottom dire). General rules: Mele + Ranged Support + Carry Escapes and disables can take Hard Lane Carry needing the most farm should take Mid, followed by Easy Lane.
