IF they can pull it off flawlessly, this would be an incredible idea. Also keep in mind that they wanted to more reward people who arent being jerks rather than punish those who are.

How do you get to that panel?

I got a timeout about half a year ago, absoloutely no idea why or how, just kinda showed up. Went through steam support on the first day, kept going through my posts, couldn't find anything. Finally, three days later, I get the message: "We were unable to find any infractions on your account." Sure enough, logged back in and everything was normal. wat? why was i locked out, then!?

I was denied as well, but by Hertz, not Drgnzach. Not sure how involved he is, but oh well. I get the feeling they may have issues filling the mod team, so maybe they will open it up a little bit later on.

I'll sign up for engi on users team. Or am I qualified for the mods?
