For those of you who do not know what the Ludum Dare is, it is a 48 hour game development competition. Engine, sounds, and art all have to be created within those 48 hours. There is also a theme for each dare, that must be somehow be incorporated into your game. Dare #23 will be this weekend, and I will be participating! (I did it last year as well.) If anyone is interested, I will be doing a live stream of the whole process, for 48 hours strait*. I'll post more information once the event begins. Also, this is a huge amount of fun, and I'd encourage anyone with even the smallest amount of experience to give it a shot! Sadly, Real Life has thwarted me yet again... I've withdrawn from the dare. Oh well, maybe next year....(on the bright side I can start working on SPUF Fortress again...)

And that's what makes it so entertaining! I'm surprised I remembered enough Spanish to tell him to be quiet so I could concentrate. He was so shocked, too.

That's the plan! I'll most likely publish them when I need feedback, or there's something really cool to see. I try to pack as much new stuff in before I build an executable, though. In the meantime, I'll post screen-shots, videos, and the occasional live stream. Here's the most recent one. I'll toss a link in the OP as well. Also, I've had a bit of spare time, here's a recording of current progress!
