For simplicity's sake, (and so you don't have 20 different sets of ammo for your weapons), all ammunition will be infinite. What if they were built into the levels already, both the entrance and exit? So people who don't use engineer can still get there?

What I mean is that there are 5 possible equip regions set up in the inventory: Primary, Secondary, Mele are all the weapons slots. Then there is a hat and an item spot. So for example, 1-3 would switch between shotty, pistol, and wrench. If you wanted, say, a mini-dispenser, you would put it in the equip spot, and any time you place a sentry, it will place a mini one instead. I like the idea of the PDA screen, maybe just have it open on 4?

I would prefer to stick with my standard setup of the three slots, but if necessary, I suppose a change could be made. My logic was that they would not use both unless they wanted to fight with just the wrench. I could possibly move the sentry to the pistol slot. The other option might be that he has hotkeys (4-7) that build the building regardless of weapon, and have alternate buildings in the "item" slot. (You have a hat and item slot along with the standard loadout.)

Trying to decide on that. I was thinking that you would have something that builds sentries for your primary, and a dispenser for secondary. (There's no need for teleporters.) I'll probably include a few different types of sentries, like mini-sentries and flamethrowing sentries. Depending on balance, you may have more than 1 out at a time, or they might deconstruct after a certain time. Dispensers will function as normal.Stickys will have a set distance that they travel before "sticking," probably about 4 spaces ahead of you. They will have damage and knockback when they explode. I'm working on getting knockback applied to yourself, so that sticky"jumping" (it'll be more like boosting) will be possible. Rockets will have a similar mechanic, except they have a larger blast radius and only explode when they hit something.

Oh my. That would be terrifying.... What if it was earlier on, and some of them were re-used as much tougher enemies?Like it, though.Or they could be the bosses of their respective sub-forums, then you have to fight all three of them later on.
