Close, probably not quite as hectic. Like a step or two down from Realm Of the Mad God. This better? Or should I maybe make it longer?
-
Heh, I'll see if I can put it somewhere, Rammite. I've been working on the engine a bit, should be a top-down shootemup RPG. Yes, a genre to befitting spuf. Either way, I also have a coulpe thing s I've been thinking of. Should rep be used as XP or money? Also, I've been attempting to do graphics. Time to Meet the Pyro:

Actually, yes, I would certainly appreciate someone doing music! And 8-bit would fit quite nicely. Maybe re-do some of the Tf2 themes? (and some popular micspam of course...)

Just saying, If someone wants to do the graphics, go ahead. Otherwise, we're going retro ;)

I like this best I think. -
Any guesses on time on Sunday? Would work for me, just depends when.

I just use the dropbox public folder.... I find both of those to be too obtrusive.

Awwwww. Well, that was almost exactly what I had in mind. -
I had a playstation, then a playstation 2 growing up, but as soon as they stopped making the games for it, I got fed up with consoles. Ironically the thing that got me hooked on PC gaming was a Just Cause 2 demo that barely ran at the lowest resolution on my laptop. Later I got the Portal demo, then got Portal for free during that one weekend. It really took off after I got TF2, however.

The SPUF/SPUFPowered 2012 Saxxy Awards Project!

Alright, here's my thoughts for the dead Island remake-I'm typing this as I watch the trailer, fyi.We use a red scout for the girl, and he has capped the intelligence. he gets blown up after leaving the battlements of the enemy, and falls next to the bridge. There would be a pyro burning someone at the bottom. The hallway scenes would be him running toward the far ramp to the left of the spawn (near the courtyard) in the intelligence room. He continues up those stairs, across the top of the courtyard, past the spawn, and by the edge of the sniper posts. Have a blue spy disguised as a pyro with the axe pretend to defend him as he runs, and then stab him before he makes it out of the sniper battlements. He gets stabbed, and the ragdoll falls in front of the bridge. Have other people be having a normal fight during this, but not interfere with the scout or spy. For the flasback part, show the scout making his way into the intel room w/ the pryo. (and maybe have the spy stab the real red pyro helping him..)If you need more explanation, Ill take some screenshots /replays. -

i think we should remake the Dead Island trailer, on 2fort. Ill post details when I get home today -
I do believe so, chap. Cheers! I dare say that we should be able to use this macro more frequently! If it would assist those with the power to do so, I have provided an alternate image.

I say, I'm afraid not, good sir. And be so kind as to speak at a lower decibel, if you may.
-
Would you care for myself to accomplish the task for you?
-
Say chaps, might this be of an interest to you? I found it most beneficial in my on endeavors.
-
My thoughts exactly, chap.
-
We should also only post in this font. Hm, yes.
-
I would also like this, I may even break out the SDK again...
-
I say we all change our avatars to these new versions.

I am far from every cosmetic item, but I'm trying to go for at least all weapons first.

My thoughts on the current state of the SPUF NOTSRS Server.
Binary posted a topic in Team Fortress 2.5
I just finished a round or two on the un-serious server, and I really think something needs to be done. As someone put it, "the mood got really cold." and frankly, it really has. People have been kicked very soon after they joined, with little to no (and I mean a rapid 20-second countdown) of a warning. Granted, the votekick is useful in the long run, and I'm glad its in, but I feel that there might be a bit of persecution of newcomers. Almost "Do what we are doing RIGHT NOW or be gone forever." It make me feel a bit sorry for them, I almost got kicked myself. This restriction suddenly made us stuck in the same thing for quite a while. I saw a demonight, and a few other classes, but as soon as the joined, because they weren't doing what we were doing, they were gone. I think the only way to really solve it is to actually define, what it is exactly IS not serious. I think that the motd needs to be changed to explain it, and if that doesn't work, get a plugin that reads the rules then they join. Also, I think at least a small amount of rules should be added or enforced. If I may, (and I will most likely edit as suggestions come in) post a description and rules below. Rules: [*]Listen to admins [*]If you aren't interested in joining in on a activity, please do not interfere with others doing so. [*]If someone wishes not to be killed, respect that. (and that some of us have gotten a bit heavy handed on the votekick button...) -
Da. This is true. Look for servers that have the new steam voice stuff disabled.

what happened to the thread about the creepy micspammer on the spufserver?
Binary replied to Nitzan's topic in Team Fortress 2.5
Hmm, I wonder what they'll do now. The original thread got closed. -
Ya know what? Let me finish at least one of my current projects, and I'll take a look at making this! (But don't tell the Portal 2 forums, I haven't finished Aperture Birds yet.) I unfortunately cant do the Steam related stuff, though...
