Yes, its ultimately the reason I got rid of it. However, you can kinda fix it by cleaning the scroll wheel.

After a series of conversations with scamp (and a failed attempt at finding an old project of mine), I went back to my old stomping grounds, Bzpower. Anyone else remember the single best thing to come out of lego EVER? Discuss your memories, swag, ect. below. SITE WITH ALL THE OFFICIAL GAMES!!! Oh, I guess I should post my swag as well. I had every single toa up to about Inika, nearly every mata mask (along with a case), The book series to the bitter end, as well as the comics, including issue 1. Various posters, a hat, and I believe a shirt. And those disks with games and videos on them. That was until I was forced to sell or give away every last one of them. (and Mata was the best. Just sayin')

Not in the slightest. I just picked a controller because that was my "lower limit" for buttons. Everything would obviously be rebindable, but here's my plan for a default layout.

That's exactly what I had in mind, actually. Ideally you turn off the recoil reducer, turn around, and fire. You'd get there much faster, but be completely exposed.

There was. I can't remember what it was called. I don't know if you're at all interested in suggestions, but it might be neat to add limited fuel for thrust to the mix. In addition to it being a mobility mechanic it could also balance weapons. Instead of using ammunition, firing something like a railgun would require a certain amount of fuel in order to keep you from flying backwards - moreso than a machine gun, for instance. You'd have to manage recoil combined with the amount of fuel needed for both travel and stabilization. Players would have to refuel either at a designated area or with some kind of item, and to add a bit of risk, players out of fuel could also have the option to vent oxygen from their suits for thrust, essentially sacrificing their health for mobility if they need it badly enough. I'm not a huge fan of weapon degradation in general, but I think it's a good idea since the weapons in this game would basically be a free form of thrust. Managing degradation to decide when to use a railgun to throw you across the map and when to use it offensively sounds like it'd be an important mechanic to have. I like it. I'd be more inclined to do some sort of a boost instead of fuel. There's also the stabilizer, which may use the same fuel. I don't want to penalize normal movement though.

What are your thoughts on the control scheme? Obviously rebindable on keyboard. Also on the degradation mechanic.

Situationally better* Axetinguisher was always the combo, and that's all it was used for. Frankly I prefer pyro melees to have non-damage utility, as the flamethrower does the close range damage well enough that it hasn't been worth it to switch for me.

It's sad because it was my first fountain dive. Played a LC with Static Link, Battery Assault, Healing Sprites, and Chemichal rage. Static link onto someone, battery asault, and then just wail on them while being literally unkillable.
