SCRATCH THAT. FORGOT I HAD SOMETHING TONIGHT. MOVIE NIGHT IS TOMORROW.
-
That actually isn't something I thought could be done before, so it was actually pretty cool. Whether or not it needed a 5 minute video...

I approve of this post URL.

I gotta say, I really wish I could have backed this. This looks like a ton of fun, albiet a bit odd.

That would be really useful for allies. I suppose it would be only visible to allies, as confusion is half of spell steal. The main issue I see is that it reduces visibility, as the green blends into the ground on some spells.

Valve is on vacation this week?
-
Its the fact that reddit got promos before SPUF. And they named it after a hat concept we have been tossing around there for months. I am most displeased.

ITT: valve adds the 9 mercs as heroes.

The pyro would be a mele agility hero. Auto attack is hitting people with the fire axe. Q would be a mini nuke with the flare gun. W would be a channeling spell, where he hits a single target with the flamethrower, dealing damage based on agility. Also follows that target. E would be a dot reducing passive. Maybe a bit of magic immuntity in too. Ult would be a reflect blast, which also channels, and redirects all projectiles (attacks and stuns) back to the player who casted it. Channel duration increases with levels. Ags makes reflects do 25% extra damage. -
Short version because I'm tired. I can expand it later if you wish. Surface: Win 8 1.3x4 ARM processor 2GB Ram Keyboard thing 32GB storage 10.6" screen $499 Nexus: Android 4.2.2 1.7x2 Processor 2GB Ram No keyboard thing 16-32GB 10.055" screen $399 (16GB) $499 (32GB) Windows 8 is... decent. However, the Win8 ARM version isn't like desktop windows 8, in that it wont run x86 "windows" programs. Android 4.2.2 (Jellybean?) works well, plus theres all those apps. Edge: Nexus. I'm still not happy with Windows 8, they could use more apps, mostly. RAM is about the same on both Surface should come with a snap on keyboard, which would be nice for notes, which is what I'm assuming you want it for. You can, however, find keyboards for tablets through USB or Bluetooth. Edge: Surface. Its a laptop/tablet at heart. However, the keyboard works best on a desk. you cant use it like a laptop on your lap. :/ Surface has a higher core count, but lower speed ARM. Nexus has a higher speed dual core. Edge: Nexus. I prefer speed over cores, as you won't be multitasking as much on a tablet. The Surface has more storage options, starting at 32 Gb and going up The Nexus starts at 16 Gb and goes up. Edge: Both, but with modifications. If you need the space, then the surface is a decent bet. It will cost more, though. However, if you use cloud storage and have wifi, I think the nexus has the edge with the cheaper price of the 16GB model. Screen size: The surface has .5" more diagonal screen space. Make of that what you will. Overall. I think for the best value, go with the 16GB Nexus, and get a bluetooth keyboard. Start using google docs (if you dont already), and storage isn't an issue. You'll have access to a wider variety of applications, and I find Android to be more tablet friendly than Win8.
