So I finally got my drivers, updates, and TF2 installed. TF2 took about 20 minutes to launch, really hope it was just hidden installation processes. Has this habit of freezing up at random, hopefully I can fix it... Loading up a quick play game now, hopefully everything works! Lag spikes also seem to decrease quite a bit when I'm finally actually in game. Map loading takes much longer as well. And then it did this Looks promising to say the least, but I don't think my setup is viable to dual boot. I certainly will be considering switching completely once things improve, and more games get ported over.

So, if the Mac promo rewarded money, it would appear that the Linux one will reward work, based on the state of SPUF ATM. Somehow I'll be happy to live without buds.

Know what domeone needs to make? A community-driven report site. Kinda like SteamRep, but instead you can list matches and descriptions publicly. Just got out of a game with some guys being absolute jerks, and didn't care about report because you have to get "10 in a day" for lowq. And even then, lowq is hardly a punishment. Some sort of public "wall of shame" would do the trick, I think, as well as get these people the reports necessary. Or maybe I'm just angry and need to stop playing for a bit.
