I play a lot still., joined a pretty competitive outfit.

I'm running mint on my laptop. Tried arch for a while, but ultimately didn't like their repos.

See, here's my problem with banning guns. It's practically impossible anymore. They have multiple-shot automatic guns that can be created in a 3D printer with nothing but a nail for the firing pin. 20 years ago? Maybe. Shut down the manufacture and sales and eventually they'll dwindle out. But now, within the next few years, they can have reliable firearms that are entirely untraceable and unregulated. Made in some basement or bunker.  So hypothetically we've banned civilian guns. That's great. But now we have an entirely unarmed, vulnerable populace. And then we have criminals who ARE armed, facing no resistance. (So it's better to train well-minded civilians on how to handle these items as a deterrence, as opposed to disarming everyone. But that's another discussion.) Not only that, but as mentioned here, there are other tools- bombs, knives, chemicals. Just because we take away guns doesn't mean that we are safe from all harm. If someone wants to do evil, they will find a way.

Welp, beat the story. Finally settled down and built my house, unloaded all my collectable things. Looks nice. Gonna probably finish off my quests and start a new character.   Thoughts on story etc below. DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVE NOT BEATEN THE GAME.

​how? You can afford less sharp textures and aliasing, by drawing the blurry render on top. It's most effective at high speed, where you'd have to render a lot very quickly.

oddly enough it's also a form of optimization.

That beta patch fixed my crashes as well. Thanks Rynjin. No, weapons don't degrade, but the scraps are put to much better use with crafting and weapon mods.  Controls are solid, a very good improvement over NV/Skyrim. I'm on a settlement quest right now. It's decent. I probably won't go crazy with it, but its nice to build a bass exactly how you want it.

Anyone else crashing just about every 10 minutes? SSD helps pick up quick, but it got in the way a bit.
