    Absolutely! Probably a couple different standard ones, then specific ones for each enviroment.

  2. See if you can't delve into the golden ages of gaming. Fancy codes and intentional "glitches" that gets you cool stuff if you know them. Things like unlocking Berserkenkastel and bosses as characters.

    Hmmmmmmmm, that sounds really fun, actually! I'm not really sure how to make intentional glitches, but I'll think twice before fixing them now, lol.

    Ya, but not really full on diolouge, shops will be text based, and npcs. So just basic grunts/taunts for bosses and enemies. I'll probably take lines for all the TF2 characters directly from the game.

  5. I agree wholeheartedly. I enjoy a good old fashioned hoedown once and while, but generally just standing around looking at eachother really isn't all that fun. I'd much rather be doing an octo-heavy fight, or a tauntkill battle, or a PewPew fight, or even COD snipers personally.

  7. Maybe only a fraction friendly fire. It'd suck to have the mage of the group nuke your face off because someone made a yo mama joke.I'm thinking more of a recurring miniboss, like Balrog from Cave Story.You'll be that annoying boss that almost died, says a few last words, and leaps to safety, only to challenge the player again like 5 times.We'd have to give you interesting movesets, though, or that'd get boring.

    Kinda my thoughts, most of you (based off of those in the Super Spuf Fighter thread) that have stats would be mini-bosses, or higher leveled enemies. Major bosses would be, as suggested earlier, the mods. In a semi-related note, I just had a glich that made the pyro moonwalk.... but I fixed it. Might have a video or something up tomorrow.

    Close, probably not quite as hectic. Like a step or two down from Realm Of the Mad God.

    It's looking really good, my only problem is that the flamethrower sticks out too much while still being indistinct. Perhaps you could make it less detailed and have a darker shade?

  9. Heh, I'll see if I can put it somewhere, Rammite. I've been working on the engine a bit, should be a top-down shootemup RPG. Yes, a genre to befitting spuf. Either way, I also have a coulpe thing s I've been thinking of. Should rep be used as XP or money?

    Actually, yes, I would certainly appreciate someone doing music! And 8-bit would fit quite nicely. Maybe re-do some of the Tf2 themes? (and some popular micspam of course...)

Well, Spring Break is coming up, and seeing as I'm going to have some free time on my hands, I've decided to ignore my (many) current projects and get started on a game based on the wonderful thing called SPUF. It will be a top-down shootemup RPG. I'm currently working mainly on the engine, but keep on posting ideas!

    Probably taking a few things from the Super Spuf Fighter thread. REP based powers, Fight off trolls, maybe meet a few famous spuffers along the way. Work your way to defeating (or joining) the Admins.

    Again, open to suggestions, and I'll update as progress is made!

    -rep now attracts only from a certain distance, also remains longer.
