Yep. Khezu has no senses other than touch and smell. Gore and Gigginox both have feelers that use either the frenzy scales (gore) or body heat (giggi) to track prey. Fun fact, when Gore's wings are blue-lit, it can't track you as well as when they're purple.

I believe there's going to be a monster hunter frontier online beta for the US sometime this year, but for now emulation is your best bet on PC.

I fought Zinogre for the first time and I fucking wrecked him. Hunting Horn really is the best weapon to fight him with. Now I have a hunting guitar.

Oh hey I accidentally left the write protection switch on the regular SD adapter. Oops.

The process to transfer data from one microSD to another is really weird. You have to copy the files from the first microSD to the computer, then connect to the computer through the n3ds in a special program and transfer the files through your wireless network. It also takes a lot longer (flipflopping between 1 hour and 30 minutes, and I had only installed Monster Hunter) than doing it through your PC (just a few minutes) but otherwise it just won't work because of the innate copy protection on the folders.

I received mine as well. System transfer is a go.

It's a pretty fun game, definitely pick it up if it's on sale. In other news, WOOOOOOOOOO

you hunt monsters and use their parts to make weapons and armor to hunt more monsters, scaling is entirely based on your equipment rather than levels (since there aren't any levels)

Apparently Club Nintendo died last night will go down in 6 months. Nintendo is replacing it with a "better" loyalty program (not fucking Mega Hand and other shitty DSiWare, hopefully). I hope my coins carry over.

Kanto: Hard to compete with the classics, especially with the megas, though Blastoise has fallen behind in usefulness. My favorite is Venusaur. Johto: Feraligatr's my favorite water starter, and is even a physical attacker. I don't see all the hype behind Typhlosion except that he's the only pure fire type. Meganium is really bulky and a pain to deal with sometimes, and I respect that. Hoenn: Yeah sure why not. All of them are easily countered but if they can get their foot in the door they're all powerhouses. My favorite from the three is Swampert. Sinnoh: Ehhhhhhhh. I dunno why but these never really struck a chord with me. Torterra never found a niche and it also looks really stupid. My favorite from the three is Empoleon. Unova: Ugh. They're all damned by mediocrity (save for contrary Serperior) and even though Emboar is my favorite from the three, it's probably the worst mostly for being ANOTHER fire/fighting type. Kalos: Finally, a return to form. The hidden abilities are clever and make sense for each, and Chesnaught is probably my favorite fighting type.

I gotta have one. I don't know why but I never got Smash codes either, even though I've been in club nintendo for a while. EDIT: Never mind, got one from the cool dudes at vinesauce.

I would have LOVED to not support GameStop's tomfoolery but the n3ds itself looks so fucking coooool.
